Japanese Marquetry wood inlaid Hanging Cabinet or hanging cupboard with doors, one(1) shelf inside, Meiji period, later part of 1800's, 24 3/4" high, 22 1/2", 6" deep. All the Marquetry inlaid wood designs are on the front part of the doors and the top area, representing typical Japanese Artistic Symbols on the Hardwood Cedar and other mixed wood, and Brass key hole is not complete. It shows beautiful wood old Patina with age, one(1) vertical small piece of the wood on the side panel is missing for long period of time, and one(1) hole in the back was mended.

Japanese Marquetry inlaid Table, mid 1800's, beautifully detailed various design and color of wood Marquetry works are displayed in this three(3) functional table, all in one(1) table as a Book Stand, a Chess table and a Sewing or Work Table, 33 1/2" high, 13" deep, 35 1/2" wide when it is open, 17 1/2" wide when two(2) leaves are closed, with inlaid 4 side brackets support leaves on both sides. This multiple purpose table comes in two(2) parts, separate stand with curved black lacquered legs connected to the rectangle shape stretcher on the bottom to strengthen the legs. There are two(2) small drawers above one(1) long drawer next to the small door inlaid with Persimmon wood Cherry tree, and mounted with stamped white metal. Inside the door, there are small drawers. There is a removable inlaid board pull out from the front bottom area on top piece, use as a work table in front and also can be used as a reading board on top of the back as a reading table. This table is a multiple purpose table and space oriented, plus a very beautiful piece of Marquetry furniture in any room setting. There are slight warping on the table top, some wear and tear on wood surface, no missing inlaid pieces, but one small attached tree branch is missing on the small door on the right side, considering a very delicate piece of puzzle type marquetry wood work, the condition is good.

Underglaze blue Chinese Character on top of the cover and bottom on white background. Inside bowl also decorated with underglaze blue border on the rim and Peony flowering branch within blue double circle in the middle on white. There is a frit about less than 1/8" size inside the top rim, and glaze crazing on the cover during firing in the kiln, shows more underneath the cover.

Japanese Samurai Warrior in full Armor on Noma Uma Black horse, special small tough Horse in Japan on black wooden stand, Ca. 1910, 15 1/2" high with stand, Samurai on Horse Doll is 12" high, 10" x 5" wide, fully dressed with typical Samurai Warrior outfit, with brocade cloth and some metal and paper decoration on the Armor outfit. Horse and Samurai have glass eyes, one eyebrow on left side lost some thick black hair. Old Paper Label said "Made in Japan" underneath the wooden stand, signed Kanji in black ink on the edge of the frame on the bottom. The condition is reasonably good despite of delicate materials and all the detailed sewing and different parts were used.
