This porcelain plate was produced in England by Coalport in the mid 19th century. It is unmarked, but from the shape of the blank and the type of decoration we can attribute it to Coalport. The plate measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. It has a cobalt blue border that is accented with French enamel. There are sprays of hand painted flowers in bright colors around the center of the plate. A nice Staffordshire inkwell or quill holder in the form of a recumbent deer. The naive painted decoration almost makes it look as if she's wearing a little black hat. The doe is posed on a white base molded as a rocky outcropping. The base is highlighted with a burnished gilt line.

Origin: England, ca. 1850. Condition: excellent, no damage. Size: 4-3/4" x 2" x 4".

This Zeh Scherzer & Co. vase depicts strawberries falling out of a basket. It is 8" tall. It is hallmarked Z.S. & Co / Bavaria. It is circa 1880.

A nice early Staffordshire pottery child's cup decorated with a transfer scenes of children playing leap frog on one side and "peg top" on the other. The black transfer is highlighted with red overglaze enamel. The cup is accented with a molded foot and a strap handle. Teh glaze has the slight bluish tint found in Staffordshire pottery of this period.

Origin: England, ca. 1850. Condition: normal crackling to glaze, a few small flakes at the rim and two tight hairlines. Size: 2-3/4" tall.

This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland, c. 1850. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. The set is made of fine translucent bone china. Both pieces have decorations molded in the porcelain. These decorations are accented with ornate gilding. There are hand painted garlands of tiny flowers and foliage. The flowers are so life-like, only in miniature. There are cream colored borders trimmed with elaborate gilding...

Pair lovely Minton porcelain cabinet plates featuring handpainted pastoral scenes. One shows a footbridge over a rushing stream and the other shows a pair of cows wading in a pond. Both are surrounded by Minton's famous turquoise blue. The edges are gilt and embossed with a foliate pattern. The backs are impressed "Minton" and have the year mark for 1879. This porcelain plate was produced in England by Copeland between 1851 and 1885. It measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate is made of fine bone china. The celeste blue rim is reticulated. The center of the plate is hand painted with floral bouquets and colorful swags of flowers. The painting is delicate and detailed. There are gilded accents and trim around the rim. This plate will make a lovely display piece. Condition: There is light wear to the gilded trim around the rim...

Three plates with orange ground lip, transfer border on the edge of the well and the center hand painted with different complex bouquets of wild flowers. All have the Royal Worcester mark on the bottom with the date of 1877 below. Also, the number 9522/A (?) is written in overglaze enamel. The plates are 9 inches (23 cm) diameter.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some gilding wear on the edges and minor scratches.

A Davenport 2614 Old Imari 2451 style pattern cup and saucer from 1870-1887. This wonderful fully hand painted English bone china 2-5/8" tall cup and matching 5-5/8" saucer has lush gold, cobalt and orange decoration. The pattern was later copied by Royal Crown Derby as "Old Imari" or "Traditional Imari" (in production from 1902-2014)...

These fine porcelain ewers are made in a neoclassical style with a slightly flaring base supporting a bulbous body whose neck narrows before ending in an elongated spout. Tall dramatic handles are attached to the vase. Rich cobalt blue panels alternate with white ground spaces each having simple floral embellishments surrounded by gilded swirls and scrolls. Heavy gilding is used throughout on these elegant ewers made c. 1895. The condition is very good except for a possible but well done repair ...

A lovely pair of Royal Crown Derby vases in the Old Imari pattern. In excellent condition with very little wear to the gold except on the ears and mouth rim. No chips, no hairlines, no repairs. They measure 6.5" high. Dates 1877-1890.

Consists of Teapot (4.5" high x 7" spout to handle), Covered Sugar, Creamer, Waste Bowl and Quatrefoil Footed Tray (16.75" x 12.5"). The Design is of Fu Dogs, Butterflies and Branches.
