Tall Victorian Classical sterling silver vase. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Lobed baluster with inset neck and flared rim; domed foot. Acid-etched fluid and symmetrical leafing scrollwork pattern with copper traces; foot has scroll and flower repousse border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11579, and director’s letter C (1902-7). Very good condition with strong definition.

Antique Victorian era S Kirk & Son sterling silver pin cushion with purple velvet liner. A must have for the collector of fine Victorian sewing accoutrements or the collector of unusual sterling pieces. Fully hallmarked. American and in excellent condition, it measures 6" diameter.

This pretty floral spoon, by the well-known Unger Brothers, is signed with their maker’s mark, hallmark, and “COPYRIGHT 1904”. The pattern is Jonquil, which is the flower for those born in March, representing friendship and happiness. The spoon measures 4-1/2”, and the bowl of the spoon is a little bit under 2” across. Here is a Washington- and Masonic-themed spoon which is marked STERLING F.A. WHELAN. Both sides of the bowl, the hilt, and the tip are gold washed. It has a lot of Masonic symbolism incorporated into the design. The dates on the spoon handle (1732-1799) are the birth and death dates for George Washington, who was a Mason. (He is also a main character in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton.” We are huge fans!) The spoon is approximately 100 years old. It measures 4-1/8", and weighs 10.9g...

This magnificent handcrafted Art Nouveau figural brass letter opener is the nicest one I have seen, with intricate detailed "Spirit of Life" maiden wearing a flowing, draped gown, one arm resting on back of head, the other catching her windswept gown, standing on a base of sinewy bark surrounded by clover, circa 1890's, very heavy. Measurements: 10 in. high. Condition is near perfect.

Turn-of-the-century Chantilly-Grand sterling silver 3-piece coffee set. Made by Gorham in Providence. This set comprises coffeepot, creamer, and sugar. Scrolled rims, spread and scrolled foot, and reeded and leaf-capped scroll handles. Two scrolled cartouches of which one vacant and the other engraved with interlaced script monogram. Coffeepot has hinged and domed cover with leaf-ring finial, and leaf-capped scroll spout. Creamer has scrolled helmet mouth. Creamer and sugar have gilt interior...

Outstanding sterling silver soup ladle in a repousse pattern. The design is a very finely worked pattern of roses and other flowers and foliage. The bowl is deeply lobed and has a scalloped edge. The pattern is similar to Kirk’s “Repousse”, but not identical. The back is marked “Sterling” but is not marked with a maker’s name (a frequent practice until around 1910)...

Strong EA Bliss elements and design yet unsigned. This reminds one of this maker's work. Richly ornate. What wonderful pieces these sash ornament buckle pin brooches can be!

A Gorham Art Nouveau sterling silver swing-handle basket circa 1900. This lovely American basket measures 6-3/8" x 4-7/8" across the basket and it stands 7-1/2" to the top of the handle. It has a sinuous Art Nouveau floral design and it is stamped STERLING GORHAM MFG CO 1984/6 on the bottom. It weighs 181 grams (5.8 ounces) and it in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small split on one of the cutouts (see image)...
