Chinese silver mug, ca 1865. Straight and upward tapering sides with dense low-relief frieze: Spearmen and swordsmen on foot and horse thrust and lunge and, in some cases, fall in battle. Applied armorial shield with engraved presentation dated “May 4th 1865”. S-scroll handle in form of scaly dragon with horned head peering over rim. Marked. Very good condition with deep patina.

Very lovely 19th C. heavy bronze picture frame with a raised floral motif and a flying bird. This frame has a textured surface and an empty cartouche in the corner. The oval picture opening measures 2 5/8" by 2 1/8"; and the frame measures 6 3/4" by 5". The back is copper with a wooden easel. This beautiful frame weighs 1 1/2 lbs. Circa 1880. Mint condition.

A very nice hammered brass jardiniere from Russia's Imperial era. The vessel is raised on cast lion's paw feet and is flanked by ring handles grasped in cast lion's heads. The jardiniere is constructed in the traditional manner with seamed joints and a rolled lip. The bottom is stamped with the Imperial Romanov double-headed eagle.

Very unusual Victorian sterling silver grapefruit spoon with a wonderful plique-a-jour enamel assymetrical handle decorated in six shades of translucent enamel. It is quite unusual for plique-a-jour enamel to have been used on a grapefruit spoon, as it was so fragile that it was usually reserved for more delicate pieces like demitasse spoons. The back is marked with Imperial Austrian marks in use 1866-1922.

A handsome Imperial Russian medium-size hammered brass oval tray with cast brass handles. A tray of this size would probably have been used to serve vodka, and could still be used as a cordial tray or even on a buffet table. A Wonderful Ball, Black & Co. American Silver Footed Center Bowl or Compote. J R Wendt is the Probable Silversmith. It is oval in shape with dimensions of 14" in length x 9" deep x 4.5" high. Weight is a heavy 27.9 Troy ounces. It has the Ball, Black & Co. New York mark (Formed in 1851 by William Black and Henry Ball. Became Black, Starr and Frost in 1874) and in a shield it is marked "950/1000 fine". The mark dates from 1851-1874 and the bowl is circa 1860. Excellent condition.

Superb quality antique solid silver large serving spoon that features a musketeer figure.
The spoon's stem has low relief on both sides and showcases a detailed standing figure of a French Royal Musketeer playing the bugle. The musketeer is dressed in a typical 17th-century elaborate musketeer uniform with a cape, a sash across the torso, and a feathered hat on his head. His left-hand rests on the hilt of his rapier sword, and he wears musketeer bucket top boots on his legs.
