Pair of Edwardian Classical sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1914. Each: Ovoid socket with detachable bobeche on knopped baluster shaft; domed foot. Fancy floral garlands, gadroons, leaves, and scrolls. Scrolled rims. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, no. A602, and date symbol. Very good condition.

Rare English, circa 1824, footed Georgian christening mug with a foliate capped double scroll handle. The body is chased and embossed with rose and leaf motif. In excellent condition, it measures about 3 3/8th high b 2 3/4" diameter at the mouth. Hallmarked.

Elegant 19th C. chocolate or demitasse coffee pot by Shreve & Co. Measures 10 5/8" tall and 7 3/4" wide (including spout and handle). There are two ivory insets in the beautiful elongated handle. One side has an engraved stag's head. Marks on base include an "S" on each side of a bell, "Shreve & Co., Sterling, San Francisco". On close inspection, I noticed a small dent on the underside of the spout (near top). Otherwise, excellent condition, inside and out. Circa 1890.

A Magnificent Sterling Silver Footed Tazza or Compote by Theodore B. Starr in a floral openwork pattern on both the edge and base. An inscription on the base dates from 1905. Monogram in center of Tazza. Dimensions; 9.5" high x 3" in diameter; weight, a very heavy 27.4 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A very rare and elegant Victorian sterling silver pie knife in Gorham’s 1894 “Imperial Chrysanthemum” pattern. The handle is decorated with an ornate design of chrysanthemum blossoms and foliage that extends down onto the blade and shoulders of the blade. The back of the handle is decorated with a complementary design. Pie knives or pie servers are difficult to find in the better patterns...

A lovely set of twelve sterling silver demitasse spoons presented in their original fitted velvet and silk box. The design features a scroll of acanthus leaves along the stem with an asymmetrical shell at the handle. The backs are stamped “Sterling” (prior to 1915), American silver was not required to bear a maker’s mark. The pattern is nearly identical to Knowles’ “King” pattern...

A set of six sterling silver demitasse or coffee spoons in Gorham's early (1870) "Swiss" pattern. The design is similar to Gorham's other early sterling patterns, with a decidedly classical decoration of anthemion leaves. The bowls have a matte finish which contrasts nicely with the handles. The backs are engraved with a period 3-letter monogram "LBE". The backs are marked with Gorham's early hallmarks.

Origin: America, circa 1870. Condition: excellent, no dings, sharp detail...

Rare smaller size sterling silver dish ring with slat-pierced sides, pierced foliate scroll work bands, and embossed with laurel leaf swags. In excellent condition, it measures diameter across base 4", diameter across top about 3 1/2", and height 2 3/8". Circa 1900.

Edwardian Art Nouveau vanity jar. Made by Foster & Bailey in Providence, ca 1910. Crystal with curved sides and short inset neck. Cut geometric ornament and stylized flower band; star on underside. Cover sterling silver; top curved with enameled ornament: Pink and blue flowers on radiating white ground bordered by pink guilloche wave ornament. Cover marked. Very good condition.

This is a handsome English silverplate on copper oval gallery serving tray having rope banded rim and base with pierced sides and handles, maker unknown but marked Silver On Copper, measures 18 in L x 12 in. w; good condition, wear to silver and copper visible in places on the interior of the tray, surface scratches.

An ornate and extremely well-made silver plated roll top bacon or breakfast server c1880. This beauty has reeded legs with claw and ball feet, Greek style square handles, a threaded finger lift for the rolltop and a fancy pierced drip insert which sits in the removable inner dish...

Turn-of-the-century American Art Nouveau green glass silver overlay perfume. Ovoid with flattened ball stopper. Semi-abstract flower heads with curvilinear stems overlapping 2 thin hoops. Neck spool form with silver rim collar and thick knop, and subtle faceting. Very good condition.

This is one of three Edwardian sterling souvenir spoons, each with London hallmarks and makers’ mark for Wakley and Wheeler; two are date stamped 1913, the third, 1915; each richly cast with rope-twist and foliate handles with heraldic shield terminals engraved "B&H" and "I.R.C." Condition: very good, bowls have some surface scratches, hallmarks crisp and clear. Measurement: 4 _ in long.

Set of 5 Edwardian sterling silver and enamel place card holders. Made by Sampson Mordan in Chester, 1904-8. Each: Two graduated discs of which the front decorated with grouse standing stiffly, alert to danger; landscape background varies. Flat round base. Perfect for the hunt dinner. Fully marked including date letters for 1904 (2), 1906 (1), 1907 (1), and 1908 (1). Three have design no. 402227 (registered in 1902) and two have design no. 429790 (registered in 1904). Antique American sterling silver christening cup by the Whiting Manufacturing Company, circa 1890. This elegant large cup has a slightly waited body with a soft, warm finish that has never been monogrammed. In excellent original condition it measures 3.5" tall and 3" diameter at the base.

Well crafted Burmese repousse silver dish, the dish engraved and worked in repousse featuring immortals encircling the cavetto around a peacock chiseled to the center, from late 19th century period. Size; Diameter of dish is appx. 7 1/4 inches with no condition concerns.
