Elegant sterling silver bread fork, the handle decorated with beading and acanthus leaves. The decoration at the top of the curved tines repeats the motif of the handle. Bread forks are relatively uncommon and were used for serving various breads and rolls. The handle is marked by an unknown maker.

Art Nouveau glass decanter with engraved silver overlay. Made by Alvin Corporation in Providence, ca 1890. Conical with cut-to-clear geometric ornament at base, and star on underside. Dense overlay with rinceaux, flowers, and scrollwork. Ball stopper with grape bunches and leaves in strapwork frames. Decanter is cranberry and stopper is clear. Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver card case. Made by Clark & Sewell in Birmingham in 1906. Rectangular with hinged cover and plain back. On front is one maiden with faraway look, one iris flower, two water lilies, and the sun in the act of setting or rising (direction not indicated). All surrounded by whiplash border. The works! Late 19th C sterling silver Art Nouveau floral match safe Vesta with two lizards embossed on each side of the lid. There is a very tiny crack at the top backside near the hinge. It does not compromise integrity of this piece. Marked STERLING inside lip. Measures 2.75" x 1.5"

This elegant brush has repousse decorations depicting Art Nouveau lilies on the top, and fancy swirls on the handle. It measures 5-3/4” x 3". It is stamped Sterling, and there are other, illegible, marks. There is a little bit of damage to the silver at the top of the brush, which is exaggerated by the photos.
