A large repousse decorated sterling presentation trophy goblet - London, 1866, by Henry Holland and Company. Size: 9 7/8 inches ht. Weight: 15.5 Troy ozs. The inscription reads: Presented by the Trustees of the Pontypool Park Estate for Competition by No. 1 (or Pontypool) Company of the 2nd Monmouth Rifle Volunteer Corps. 1866. The winner's name is etched into a cartouche on the reverse side - Sgt. Robert W. Wallace, 2nd Monmouths. Excellent condition.

Cover sterling silver; top curved with enameled ornament: Pink and blue flowers on radiating white ground bordered by pink guilloche wave ornament. Cover marked. Very good condition.

The handle is also decorated with leaves and rosebud. workmanship is well. Dimensions: 6"H x 7"W x 4.5"D. This item belongs to late 19th to early 20th century from city of Shiraz in good condition.

Victorian sterling silver baby cup. Made by John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater in London in 1887. Straight and gently upward tapering sides and c-scroll handle. Ornamental borders engraved at top and bottom including ribbon-tied garlands. Festive and celebratory with plenty of room for announcing a special event. Interior gilt washed. Fully marked. Antique 18th- 19th century Balkan, possibly Greek or Serbian, large, hand-hammered, silver-plated copper, extremely ornated military Gorget (with a rimmed edge), upper loops pierced with holes for a suspension cord. In the center, the Gorget is bearing a hand-embossed (repousse) in relief and hand-chiseled two-headed eagle flanked by creepers' branches...

A unique silver vase in Oriental style, decorated with butterflies, prunus branch and various flowers, including chrysanthemum, lilies, butterflies etc. in high relief. The piece which was made by Edward Barnard & Sons, a famous London family of silversmiths, is dated to 1879 of the Victorian Age. The decoration is extremely refined and sophisticated with the use of both gilt and copper. Fully marked with five stamps on the neck and in the bottom. Weight: 540 gr. H. 25,5 cm...

Late Victorian sterling silver olive spoons/spears such as this are the perfect accompaniment for a sophisticated bar set-up. They can be used for olives, of course, but also for cocktail onions or cherries. They can also be used as a stir in a cocktail pitcher or shaker. The spoon retains its original semi-matte gilding. The stem is marked “925/1000 Sterling.”

Consists of a Carving Knife (12.5" marked Paris Acier Fondu), Carving Fork (11"), Salad Set (silver with ivory bowl and tines), both Fork and Spoon 11", and a Cake Server (11.25"). All silver stamped with the French Minerva mark as well as an axe in a diamond and the initial AH-presumably maker. Late 19th century. In original blue silk lined presentation box. A superb Rococo-style first standard (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin by the master silversmith Marc Parrod. This large example retains the round shape of a traditional tastevin but replaces the usual bowl decoration with ornate bunches of grapes tied with ribbon bows and a remarkable handle treatment illustrating a young couple stomping grapes while holding hands. Parrod created excellent classic Burgundian tastevins, but his fantasy pieces stand apart from all the other Dijon masters...

An ornate, finely decorated rectangular galley drinks tray c1910. This 11-1/8 x 8" tray has a pierced gallery and it is of heavy and solid construction (it weighs 640 grams). It is silver plated on copper and it has the maker's mark for Charles Howard Collins of Birmingham, England (founded c1895)...
