Superb Georgian sterling silver swing-handle basket. The bottom of the basket is formed of a silver sheet stamped and pierced in an intricate grapevine motif. The sides, constructed of interwoven silver wire, rise from the base and are decorated with grape cluster appliqués. The rim suggests grape vines, as well. Victorian Classical sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Globular bowl with foot ring, drum-form neck, lip spout, and c-scroll handle with engraved leaf-cap and bold scroll and leaf terminal. Repousse rinceaux band. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 6462 (first produced in 1881), and director’s letter M (1873-91). Very good condition.

A Gorham Sterling Silver Tea Kettle or Hot Water Kettle on a Warming Stand. Dimensions; 7" high, 9.5" to handle, 12.5" on stand. Weight a heavy 48 Troy ounces. In addition to the Gorham mark and the date mark for 1905, it is marked 3.5 pints and A3776. Excellent condition.

Fiddle dinner spoon from Hall & Elton (1839 -1890), Connectitcut, the pointed shape of the blade indicates mid 19th century. Hall & Elton is known to have made lots of silvered cutlery. However, this spoon is tested for a silver content of at least 830/1000 (= Swedish silver standard), and so probably is coin silver. Sterling silver was introduced 1870 in America. Length "8 ¾ / 22.5 cm, weight 45 grams. Condition: fine.

Lovely cut glass powder jar with a silver lid. The finial is a beautifully-detailed strawberry. The edges of the lid are decorated with classical bound reeding. The lid is also monogramed "FC". Hallmarks are European and the silver content is 916/1000.
