A Very Interesting Sugar Caster from the workshops of the Duchess of Sutherland's Cripples Guild of Handicrafts circa 1910. This is made of hand wrought copper that has been gold plated, based on an 18th century English example in the Duchess's collection. Measures about 10 3/4" tall. Rare example.

Edwardian Regency sterling silver 3-piece coffee set, ca 1910. This set comprise coffeepot, creamer, and sugar. Coffeepot and creamer have ovoid body. Sugar has round body. All faceted with raised foot and capped double-scroll handles. Coffeepot cover hinged and domed with vasiform finial. Creamer and sugar have gilt-washed interior. Can't duplicate this original Victorian set of large nickel plated newspaper cutting scissors and letter opener with matching sheath in the style of WMF, circa 1900, the handles and sheath of beautifully cast with Art Nouveau style; blades are steel-cut and marked "Schnefel Bros, Germany;" condition: sheath case and handles in excellent condition, some minor nicks; measurement:, 11 3/4 inches in sheath. Letter opener- 8 3/8 in high.

Sides exterior have engraved and acid-etched Mother Goose scenes including Old King Cole, Simple Simon, and Little Tom Tucker, cherished characters in olden days pre-industrial fashion, with the men wearing breeches, their woolen-stockinged calves dangling out of the rectangular frames...

A Pair of Open Salts in Sterling Silver By Gorham, with a pair of Salt Spoons by Lunt (Rogers, Lunt & Boylan mark). The date mark for Gorham is 1919 and the dimensions are 2.5" x 1.5" x 1" high.

Edwardian sterling silver baby bowl on plate. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1911. Bowl has curved and tapering sides. Plate has well and wide shoulder. Both have whiplash-scrolled rim and applied figures—an eclectic frieze that includes dog-petting hobos, stickball playing boys, tool-bearing workmen, and pipe-smoking grannies. Fully marked including no. A4479 (bowl) and A4480 (plate). Plate also has date symbol and retailer’s stamp (JE Caldwell). Very good condition...

Lobed and upward tapering sides, capped foliate scroll handle, wide lip spout with fluid swags, and raised circular foot with crimped trefoils. Sleek but traditional with good heft. Fully marked including maker's and retailer's (Brand-Chatillon) stamps, and Reed & Barton date symbol. Dominick & Haff was consolidated with Reed & Barton in 1928...

Elegant sterling silver bonbon server in Kirk's popular "Repousse" pattern--probably the most famous of all the Baltimore silver patterns. The bowl is embellished with intricately designed fruit including grapes, pineapples, strawberries, and peaches. The reverse is marked "S. Kirk & Co. Sterling".

Origin: Baltimore, Maryland, circa 1920. Condition: near mint, no monogram. Size: 5-1/8" long.
