A Victorian Sterling Silver Presentation Inkstand or Standish with Taperstick. The Inkstand is Assayed in Sheffield 1864, with the maker "IH" probably john Harrelson. The Cut Glass Inkwells, with Hinged Silver Lids are from Birmingham 1863, with the makers mark of "IC", probably James Collins. The Dimensions are 11.25" in width x 7.5" deep x 5" high to the inkwell and 6.5" high to the taperstick. The stand without the inkwells weighs approximately 22 Standard/20 Troy ounces...

A Unique Double Ivory Handle, Emanating from Serpents and ending in an Inverted Swans Head. A Gadrooned Lower Base and a Gadroon and Shell Design on the Shoulder. An American Federal Period Coin Silver Creamer or Milk Jug by John McMullin (1765-1843) of Philadelphia. Monogrammed on one side "PJG" with "BB" over it and "MB" under it and the dates 1790 and 1850. On the other side "NRG" and the date 1923. Presumably this was a family piece used over generations. Possibly given originally as a birth present. A simple 7" pre-Victorian English pewter sauce ladle by John Yates, Birmingham. Yates (1788-1881) produced spoons and ladles from c1808 to c1840, and this example has his early IO HN YHA TES stamp. It is in the fiddle pattern and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, monograms, losses, damage or repairs other than a small bubbled area of corrosion on the handle...
