This is an exceptionally rare Milanese Renaissance period armchair
• with complimentary Italian Renaissance upholstered ottoman.
The chair has finely carved barley twist form walnut arms, stretchers and legs. Arms terminate in carved crowned fabled Milanese lions.
Back and seat are upholstered in alternating stripes of antique gold, red and green velvet, fixed by brass studs.
