A vintage c1900-10 paper-wrapped 12-1/2 x 3-3/4" glove box with an applied celluloid Neoclassical portrait of a lady in a gilt metal frame. This unsigned box is wrapped in a linen-textured paper and it is lined with a mauve textured paper interior. This 6-1/4" x 2-1/4" box has a black lacquer exterior and a red interior, and the lid is hinge-mounted. It is stamped "PAPIER MACHE" MANUFACTURED IN GERMANY on the bottom...

An interesting antique silver plated pinioned-lid stamp box c1880-1890. This 2-5/8" x 1-1/2" unsigned box features a floral corner applique and two applied butterflies on the top, a pin stop and corner swinging pivot. The interior has remnants of what appears to be adhesive from some missing material and it has two cutout felt pieces; it would make a nice tiny jewel box also...

A nicely diminutive chest from South Paris, Maine, as determined by the distinctive grain painting with the triple yellow-green-yellow striping around all edges; all original, including the vibrant and untouched paint, hinges, and lock (even the keyhole cover is still present); some minor and unimportant paint wear to the lid; 30" long by 14 1/2" deep by 12 1/2" high

Attractive and unusual Victorian inlaid wood stereographgraphoscope. When the lid is raised and a stereograph is inserted in the holder, the viewer looks through the magnifying portal for a realistic three dimensional view.

Origin: probably English, ca. 1850. Condition: very good, although there is some chipping of the veneer along the edges. Size: 5.25" x 3.25" x 1".

Rectangular black laquered snuffbox enhanced with mustard- and red-painted decoration on all six surfaces. The inside of the lid is engraved "Alexr C. Stark/Paterson, NJ". American, ca. 1830. Excellent condition, showing slight surface wear where Mr. Stark (obviously a right handed gentlemen) placed his thumb to open the box.
