This is a wonderful tiger oak secretary with a cylinder roll desk. It is circa 1890, Eastlake, with chipped carvings throughout. Its not ornate - its beautifully elegant. It measures 92" tall x 36" wide x 22" deep and is in absolutely beautiful condition. It comes apart in two pieces for moving. The graining on the wood is the best of its kind.

From our European Collection, a very fine English oak refectory table, late 18th / early 19th century, hand-tooled from solid plank timbers and iron nails, using rustic style hand-carving for design motifs, and with crossbar support on the bottom. This piece has great natural patina to the wood that gives it wonderful character in addition to the charm of its obvious Olde Worlde masculine feel. A Late American Victorian Walnut Revolving Bookcase, with a Square top with Molded Edges. Two tiers with stick and ball spindle supports, small ball feet, cast iron center shaft and base. Dimensions; 21" square x 31.5" high. Some wear, but very good condition overall.

A walnut bracket and shelf intricately carved with a panoply of Masonic symbols. The shelf portion itself folds flat against the back bracket, and is supported by a swing-out brace.

Pencilled writing on the back of this item says that it was purchased in 1938 and was believed to be over 100 years old then, which is probably about 25 years on the optimistic side. The shelf has been shellaced or varnished; 19" high, 10 1/2" wide, 6" deep.

A centennial pair of Federal style bench made mahogany stands. Truly fine specimens - each with shaped mahogany top over conforming figured mahogany veneered and beaded case. Each case with canted corners centering ring turned leg posts and with serpentine front. Each front with two beaded and line inlaid drawers each with two brass pulls. Lovely American tiger oak server with bevelled mirrored back, two drawers over one long drawer over two doors with a small shelf between them. It has Queen Anne legs and the moulding on top of the mirror is curved, ending with small rosettes. Thie piece measures 45" wide x 56" tall x 22 1/2" deep.

This is one of the nicest pair of stacking bookcases that we've had, mainly because you can fit large size books in them. Each one is four stacks high, but they are much higher than the usual stackers, and the bottom two are also a lot deeper. Each of the top two sections measures 13" tall x 34" wide x 11" deep. Each of the bottom two sections measures 16" tall x 34" wide x 14" deep. The total of each bookcase is 70" tall x 34" wide. They have been refinished and are in excellent condition...

This very unusual table measures 52" square when closed, and has four leaves, each measuring 11 1/2" wide, bringing the table to 98" long when full extended. There is a center leg for support. The base has huge paws with decoration on the pedestal. It is in perfect condition.
