Incredibly beautiful all bronze chandelier converted from gas. It has eight arms, and above that are two black Nubian figurines. The chandelier is all original, but I believe the shades to be replaced. It measures 26" tall x 35" wide.

Antique Late 19th-century beautiful pair of silver plated, Polish Jewish Sabbath candlesticks made by famous maker "FRAGET in WARSAW." The candlesticks are made in the classic Polish "petticoat" style set above and below with skirted foliate knops. Each has a bulbous stem chased at intervals with foliate clusters and bands set on a square base.

When we say that these candelabra are "le fin de siecle" we are referring to more than their late 19th century manufacture. They are superb example of Baroque style lighting which befits a place begging for a fine appointment. Why are we using French to describe these Italian cast brass masterpieces which must surely be one of a kind?
The candelabra have an architectural solidity with the square feet supporting floral faced blocks which frame a flower and scrolling vine motif...
Fine Pair of Grand Tour Bronze and Ormolu Candlesticks in the Empire style with fluted baluster shaped shafts , with acanthus decoration on gilt-bronze sections and paw feet raised atop tripartite bases. These would have been brought home as a souvenir by someone who had made the Grand Tour.

A pair of low candelabra in the Louis XV style with rococo lines and flowers. They were probably gilt originally but now have a gilt like patination. 10 inches (25.5 cm) tall and 12 inches (30.5 cm) across the arms. French 19th century.
Condition: very good with the newer patination. One candle cup held in place with a newer screw.
