Chinese Qing Dynasty Entré for a room or bed chamber circa 1870s fine carved and gilt wood. Measuring 65 inch tall, 76 inch wide.

A fine and completely fitted English rosewood lap desk, or travelling desk. The top plaque and keyhole escutcheon are mother-of pearl. The interior has two silver covered glass sander jars (minor dents), two glass inkwells, three compartments with wood covers, a leather blotter, and a velvet pad. All these are in a lift out tray. There is a drop down leather writing surface...

Small tortoise shell ladies case with an overlay sterling silver design. This may have been used as a patch box or to hold coins. Mono and in very good antique condition, it measures 3.75" x 2.5". Circa 1850

The pair of bronze figurative candlesticks French circa 1800, the figures sitting on an Ormolu gold washed bronze base with ornate swags that sit upon a carved marble pedestal with bronze feet. The pair of figures are bookend facing each other each holding four candle holder in gold wash gilt bronze. Measuring 24” each in height

Exceptional Napoleon III Tea Chest, ebonized with extensive ormolu mounts; rectangular with cut corners, having a stepped hinged lid with a small compartment surmounted by a figure of a boy holding a tray and opening to a fitted interior with a well, two gilt crystal caddies and a sugarbowl. French, probably TAHAN, late 19th Century.

Vietnamese Figures cover the large urn, it has been turned into a beautiful stunning lamp from the 20th Century that was done probably 1950s measuring 36 inches. Repair done to neck of the urn.

Unusual Wood Tea Caddy or Tobacco Box in the form of a doghouse with brass nails and door surround and with a brass dog sitting outside. It opens by gently lowering the dog's hinged head which releases the peaked roof form lid which opens to a tin lined interior. The whole is mounted on a plinth base with brass beading. Circa 1870, probably Black Forest.

11.75" x 5.5" x 7" tall

This fine small yellow enamel box is beautifully painted with a floral medallion on a white ground, interior with orange and blue floral sprays, base is signed with a crossed pair of blue crossed pointless arrows. Age: mid-late 1880’s. Condition: Signs of age Size: ¾” high x 2-1/2” x 1-3/4” (1.9 x 6.35 x 4.44)

Outstanding American late Classical mirror framed in solid well-figured mahogany with a gilt applied composition border of bellflowers. The gilding has a particularly rich patina. The glass is old and 1/4" thick, but probably not original, and has dulled to a very nice patina. The plate is backed with a wood panel that is covered with paper. The nails holding the plate in place have been replaced.

Origin: America, probably mid-Atlantic region, ca. 1840...

A true survivor. This is a 6-3/4" x 5" double well papier-mache tea caddy with ornate decoration with a porcelain miniature c1850-60. This attractive tea caddy stands 4-1/4" high and the hinged lid lifts to reveal the twin compartments, whose lids have hand carved and decorated mother-of-pearl grips. The wells have a gray painted lining. It has conical decorated gilt brass feet and ornate hand painted polychrome and gold decoration on the lid, base and front panel...
