This is a very nice all original very small paint decorated box. It is all original and including the lock and key but the lock I think been disabled. The boards are thick for such a small box and the nails are also oversized for the box. It is the kind of thing that makes you smile...
Octagon sided marble top table with an oriental style to the base. This is a simple but beautiful table, measuring 29" tall x 27" in diameter. The marble has two small chips, both in corners, and both not noticeable unless you look very closely. It is in very good condition for its age, which is late 1800s.

19th century tortoise shell box on 4 wooden bun feet.
Still has with original key and lock works. In very good antique condition, there are some cracks throughout the tortoise shell. One hinge, see last photo, is slightly damaged, but does not comprise the box in that the lid is not loose. Measures 7 5/8 inches wide, 5 1/4" wide, 2 3/4" high
An antique Japanese Funa Tansu (ship chest) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. All original hand forged iron fittings and finish. Top handle in the Warabite design for carrying. Safe door opens to reveal 5 drawers where important documents, papers, writing brushes, an inkstone and valuables were stored. A trick secret storage box was used to hide important trinkets...

An antique Ming dynasty Chinese painting table made entirely Jumu wood. Upper surface has a floating panel with time honored wood shrinkage surrounded by a mitered corner frame. The front apron has a Lingzhi carved pattern. Four splayed legs with the Ming era square mitered detail as shown in the book Classic Chinese Furniture by Wang Shixiang. The wood color has changed to a beautiful Chestnut gold with the underside showing its original condition and patina...
