I purchased this river-stained tally-marked four-directional/cross bone pendant from Tom Davis on 8-7-92. Tom had owned it for 10 years and he purchased it from the finder. This is an extremely rare assemblage of five bone gorgets. The top one is river-stained and highly engraved, almost unheard of. The middle one is very thin and also engraved. This Lost Lake is from Todd County, Kentucky and is 3" long by 2" at its widest point. The material is a typical Archaic opaque chert. It has great mineralization and patina. It has a Tom Davis COA rated G-8. I would rate it higher. It is a classic form. Shows much nicer in person.

This Hell Gap point is made from beautiful agatized petrified wood. Found in northern Colorado. It is 2 1/8" long. The very end of the base has been snapped off in ancient times, but it does not detract.

This is a very rare Iroquois female effigy bone carving adopting the "September Morn" pose (one hand on the chest and the other hand over the genitals or the abdomen). This whopping point is 4 7/8" long and 2 1/4" wide. Lar Hothem calls it a very scarce 1st stage St. Charles Dovetail. Tom Davis authenticated it as a Lost Lake, G-9. These four points were found in the Arkansas River area of southeast Colorado and are from the old-time collection of Arley Hudson. The longest one is 1 1/8". All are very thin and expertly chipped. They are from the Mississippian Period C1000AD.

This outstanding frame of bone points are from the Columbia River, Oregon and are C700-1200. They were pictured in the Oregon Archaeological Society Magazine "Screenings" Volume 5 Number 6 on August 13, 1956. A copy of the article is included. They were recovered from the Wakemap Mound. The longest is 3". These are extremely rare bone items with beautiful patina.

This rare bone point was found by Carrol Howe and is pictured in his book "Ancient Tribes of the Klamath County", page 243. It dates to 4500BP and was found by Carrol at Nightfire Island, Siskyou County, California. It is 3 1/8" long and exhibits a beautiful patina.

This beautiful Eden point was found in Oregon. It is made from multi-colored petrified bog wood. It has short flutes on both sides. It has a medium ridge on both faces and a ground base. Parallel flaking. It is 2 3/4" long. There is no damage on this point at all. Very fine flaking and an early point. G-10. Purchased from Richard E. Bachman. This nicely translucent Rose Springs was found in Colorado. It measures 1 5/16" X 11/16". It is made from a beautiful translucent waxy agate. It comes with a Jackson COA. A very nice point.

This is a beautiful Pelican Lake point found in Wyoming that I purchased from the Arley Hudson collection in 1987. It is made from a gorgeous waxy translucent orange moss agate with two ribbons of white agate showing on the lower right side. The reverse side is heavily patinated from exposure. It is 2" long. It is extremely well chipped. You won't be disappointed with this one.

Like many of you, I love the colorful gem points the most. You might have noticed that I specialize in this type of point and most of my points are in the gem category. I do not know what material this point is made from. It is that unusual. I can only classify it as a chalcedony. I do not know what type this point is. It was found in Nebraska. It is expertly chipped. In fact, you cannot tell which side is side A. Both sides are equally masterfully chipped. A G-10 all the way. It is 1 5/8" long....

This 45-70 cartridge case was found with a metal detector by a friend of mine at the "Dull Knife Battle Site" fought in November, 1878 from the "Big Hole in the Wall" area in Wyoming.

This is a fine example of the San Patrice, Hope Variety, early Archaic or transitional Paleo point dating to around 8000BC. It was found in Jasper County, Texas. It is made from translucent fossilized palmwood. It is fluted on both sides. It is 1/1/2" long and the base is ground. The edges are serrated. These extremely rare beaded chaps are maker marked H H Heiser out of Denver, Colorado. Coming to Colorado during the Gold Rush of 1858-59, German immigrant Herman H.
