The three points carved in scarce translucent hardstone, not silex. Two of them can probably be dated to the 2nd.-1st. millenium BC, but 1 could be much earlier. Very hard material and amazing that they could manage to make such refined artifacts of this size...

A fine and early Canadian East Coast native ash splint market basket made around 1900, possibly a little earlier. This basket stands 10-3/4" high with the handle and it measures 11-3/4" x 10-7/8" across the mouth; it is in excellent original condition with no damage or repairs other than a stained area with some minor losses on the interior bottom of the basket...

I purchased these four Hayes points from Tom Davis in the 1990's. They are from the Mississippian period and were found in SW Arkansas. This is an incredible, extremely rare, plains Indian copper beads and bird claws necklace. It is from the late 1800's. It has 33 rolled copper beads, 40 trade beads and 8 claws. It is about 32". The copper beads have dark patina and are all about 3/4". The claws are all sharp and the necklace is in pristine condition. This is not a married concoction. A polychrome Hopi wicker tray circa 1920-1930. Depicting a Palik Mana wearing an elaborate tableta and a woman's shawl. On the back of the tray there is an uncommon reversal of the image which shows the figure's backside. It is also rare in that the entire body is shown, rather than just the face. These four bone pins were all purchased from Tom Davis many years ago. The first is a very rare Fox Field effigy. The second is an awl/pin that has patinized in a way that is totally unique. The third is an engraved/drilled arrow effigy found by Sonny Atkinson, only three known to exist. It is 8" long. The fourth is another Fox Field effigy. These are top-shelf authentic bone artifacts.
