Ancient egyptian fayence shabti for Prince Khaemwaset 13,7cm

Mummiform votive ushabti, faience with details in black, wearing a short wig, curls modeled into the wig, with sidelock (wick of youth) and a small goatee, adorned with a broad usekh collar, holding agricultural implements in each hand, wrist bracelets, seed sack on back, and a column of hieroglyphic inscriptions on front naming “Khaemwaset” as the owner, using the hallowed Khamuas formula...

Egyptian bronze pair of cat figures with overall wear and green patina. Pierced holds through the mouths, heads, necks, and bases suggest they may have once been finials or other component to a large piece. On custom base. Possibly 12th century

Ipethemetes means 'Ipet is her majesty' or mistress or or 'The Ipet of her Majesty'

The hippopotamus goddess Ipet was worshipped as mother of Osiris at Thebes...

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this detailed Egyptian bronze figure of a seated deity Horus as a child, also known as Harpocrates. Horus' side lock is presented in excellent detail with his right hand to his mouth. This bronze has an absolutely choice olive patina with very little wear. Professional repairs have been made just above the ankles, which does not detract from the piece. The seated bronze measures 4.75" in height, plus the size of the base...

The alabaster features a nice marbled pattern and looks brilliant under the light. The table would have originally been used to hold various offerings such as unguents and food to be used in the after life. The table is very large and measures 14.5" in diameter and forms an impressive display...

The eyes as well as the chin strap to hold the Osiride beard to the face are painted onto the gesso using a carbon-based black pigment. The hair is painted in black pigment and is the classic style from the early 11th Dynasty. The boat man wears white clothing with his exposed skin presented in red. His arms remain at his side with unclogged holes remaining in his hands that once held the boat's oars...

Relics of the Nile is pleased to offer this brown flint curved blade knife with chipped tail style handle. This knife was created from one large piece of flint; using localized pressure (as opposed to striking the blade with a hammerstone), a craftsman precisely removed small flakes of flint to produce the ripple-flake on both sides and serrated cutting edge. This bade is typical of the Naqada II to 2nd Dynasty style, ca. 3,500 - 2,686 B.C....

A beautiful and intact torquise faience ushabti, Late Period, ca. 664 to 500 BC.

A mold-formed faience ushabti standing in mummiform with fused legs, holding implements, and with 8 rows of sharp hieroglyphs wrapping around the legs. The face presents with almond eyes, a prominent nose, and a petite chin, all beneath the lappets of the tripartite wig...

This amulet is carved from a beautiful blue-green stone, most probably jasper and has been done with great attention to detail. The surface has a wonderful "mellow" patina and great tactile appeal. It measures 1"in height and is free from any restoration or re-carving. Inserted on a wooden stand, easily removed, should one desire. Dating to the Middle Kingdom. Ex London art market. These types of unusual flat flint implements of donut form with ground hollow centers and worked outer and inner edges were most likely mace heads. Penned #35.
