Ancient Egyptian carnelian cartouche for Ramesses II attached to a modern/antique ring.
The cartouche is incised with the king’s nomen, the last name in his titulary, reading
“Ramesses Beloved of Amun.”
It is a white stripe in the carnelian and no crack.

Amazing massive ushabti of the finest style of the Late period, Egypt, 26th - 30th Dynasty, approx. 664 - 332 BC.
Shown mummiform, this exceptional large and beautiful Ushabti, still untranslated, probably represents an important nobleman. As quite rarely seen, the othervise greenish faience, came out as almost black in the kiln, so it looks almost like basalt, very attractive!

Authentic complete, still very bright paint and in very good condition for its age. Exceptional drawings. No restoration. Has been resting in an acrylic custom case which can be picked up by buyer is so desired.
