A wonderful symethric style scarab of stylized form, Second Intermediate Period, Hyksos Period, Dynasty 15th -17th. 1786 – 1650 BC.

Interesting type with fish inside bullseye oval.

Nubian painted terracotta sarcophagus mask. With prominent facial details. Circa @ 300 B.C. Mounted. 16 X 13 inches. with frame, 26 inches X 21 inches. Ex. Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, South Orange, New Jersey. Said to have been purchased from an old New Jersey estate.

Faience shabti for Hathor-em-achet. Depicted mummiform, with hands emerging from tightly fitting garment, wearing the false beard and seed sack strung over his left shoulder. 30th Dynasty, 380-340 B.C. Small chip on nose. Otherwise, intact. From a Manhattan, NYC estate. For similar, see photo of reference.

Pre-Dynastic, Naqada II (3600-3200 BC), indurated limestone hippo, depicted in abstract form. 3 1/4 inches wide. Mounted. Said to be Ex, D.A, private Brussels collection, 1980.

A choice example of a of a large Wadj Sceptre in brown hardstone, with the stone aiming to imitate rolled papyrus.

The scroll is widest at the top, where there is a neck below the faux loop for suspension. The base tapers into a softened point. Such an amulet would have been for ritual buriel.

A lovely green hardstone amulet in the form of a double ostrich feather, probably New Kingdom, 16th.-11th. century BC.

The front is flat with a shallow central groove delineating the two plumes.

Size: 36-37 mm. tall. Substantial piece in hand.
