A vintage necklace in fine twisted silver wire of ancient clay mummy beads and a large faience amulet of Bes, Late period to Roman period, c. 600-100 BC.

Size: 43 mm. for the amulet, the necklace is 29-30 cm. in a double row. Incl. a couple of - probably modern but old - charms in bronze or cobber.

Condition: Nice Very fine and intact.

Provenance: Collection of Gunna Munkvad, Denmark, aquired from the 1960s-1980s.

The horizontal inscription reads: “Illuminate the Osiris of the priest of the goddess Smentet, PA-DI-USIR”. He was a priest of the goddess Smentet and priest of the sanctuary of Ptah-Un! His moters name is given as Irbinat.

This ushabti figurine is depicted as a worker holding two hoes for work in the fields of Osiris in the afterlife. He is wearing a tripartite wig which falls down between the shoulders. He has an Osiris-type beard which ends in a tight forward curl...

Massive piece around a 1 cm. thick. with a fine relief.

Size: 25 mm. long and c. 10 mm. thick.

Condition Extremely fine.

An attractive and scarcely seen cosmetic vessel, Egyptian, Middle-New Kingdom, early-mid 2nd. millenium BC.

The fine jar, ovoid in form with a pointed base and a collar at the mouth.

Size: c. 60 mm. tall.

Condition: Nice Very fine, small chips to the rim and minor wear, othervise intact.

An Egyptian Cosmetic vessel, Middle to New Kingdom, 2nd. millenium BC.

An alabaster cosmetic vessel of squat baluster form, a rather substantial and attractive specimen with ancient remnants of Kohl inside!

Size: 56 mm. tall and 53 mm. wide.

Condition: Nice VF, the lip with some small edge chip, othervise superb and attractive for it's type.

Fine Egyptian Cosmetic vessel, c. 25th.-30th. dynasty, 712-332 BC.

The vessel of slender form and beautifully polished, the vessel tapering to a rounded base and circular disc rim, probably a cosmetic vessel.

Size: 52 mm. tall.

Condition: Extremely fine.

Unlike the typical amulet form, this small statuette was presented as a votive offering.

The light blue faience figure depicts the goddess Isis nursing her son, Horus.

She is seated on her throne resting her feet on an integral plinth, wearing a tripartite wig fronted by a uraeus, crowned by the throne hieroglyph.

Her son Horus is depicted nude while seated on her lap.

Shabti for Pakap p3-kp

Statuette funéraire momiforme débout sur une base trapézoidale, appuyée contre un pilier dorsal. Les corps et pilier dorsal sont gravés de Cinq colonnes hiéroglyphiques (Chapitre VI du Livre des MOITS) au nom de Pakap avec la filiation maternelle, né de Her-ert „La Fleur". Pakap est coiffé de la perruque tripartite lisse et d'une barbe postiche tressée et recourbée å son extrémité typique des personnages depuis la XWIé dynastie...

A rare and quite attractive set of two knives and a sicle type of cutter (3), knapped in finely patinated Silex, Egyptian stoneage / Neolithic period, 5200 - 4000 BC.

These comes from an old French collection and the two knives with tags in white and black ink giving the finding place to 'Fayoum' and 'Le Fayoum' - a region just south of Cairo, close to the Nile.

Rarely seen and a must for collectors of Egypt antiquities.

Ancient Egyptian artifacts from the Predynastic Period, specifically the Naqada II (Gerzean) era, which dates back to around 3600 - 3150 B.C. The artifact is a hand-carved war mace head made of reddish-brown stone, possibly Breccia. The mace head has a globular shape with a large cylindrical perforation in the center, which tapers towards one end. The base of the hole is carved with a pronounced reinforced rim, which was used to attach the head securely to a wooden handle...

The Shabti with the epithets for Osiris Neb-Neheh, in this instance the first appears to be the name of the deceased. He wears a distinct long lappet wig and more unusually at the back the basket lies diagonally below the yoke with two water pots.

A fine and large Egyptian bronze figure of Osiris in mummyform, Late Period, 26th Dynasty (Saite Period), about 627 - 525 B.C.

The large figure depicts the mummiform Osiris wearing the Atef-crown holding crook and flail. Interestingly, there's remains of ancient gilt on the body in many places.

Rare terracotta group with a rat and two mice seen side by side gnawing on the bait of a mousetrap.
According to Pedrizet perhaps an ex-voto offered by a person whose house or granary was infested with mice and rats.
