The figure is shown nude, crouching with his legs apart on top of a square base. Pataikos holds his hands to either side of the protruding belly. A groove along the chest and abdomen to the navel.
Well shaped facial features, with a line incised at the limit of the shaven hair.

A finely polished and fully symethric Egyptian stone jar made of a type of beautiful chlorite stone, 3rd.-2nd. mill. BC.

The jar was used to hold cosmethics in the 3rd.-2nd. millenium BC. Nice marks of drill inside, recessed footring and a tiny rim also carved!

The molds include a well defined rosette, a seated figure, scepter, collar element, figure of Bes, a scarab and an ankh. Each mold looks to have been used with remains of faience paste inside. This is an interesting ancient Egyptian Scarab, c. 1200 BC, from the famous Mitry collection (see our Homepage). It is 5/8” long (16 mm) and made of steatite, an easy-to-carve stone that hardens when heated. Scarabs empowered life and resurrection and were often placed under mummy wrappings to protect the body and help it resurrect. This Scarab comes in a jewelry display cup.

Pa-Khaas’ father was Ankh-Hapi, the name of his mother was Hathor-em-akhet. The T-shaped inscription is reading: ‘The illuminated one, the Osiris, the ‘Overseer of the Royal Ships’, Pa-Khaas, born to Hathor-em-akhet, justified.’

Amuletic figure of the canine god Wepwawet depicted on the bar of a standard. The front of the sledge is curved like a billowing sail and integrates a couple of rearing uraeus cobras.
The jackal wears a dog collar, the suspension loop behind is partially preserved. This small example was intended as a protective amulet.

Ancient Egyptian Bronze Double-Ureas. Depicts two cobras, each with a broadened hood and shows the details of each of the snake’s body. 1 1/4 inches high. Possibly a decoration of a large bronze Osiris. Late Period, 25th-26th Dynasty, 745-525 B.C. Ex. RDA private collection, acquired in NY art market in the early 1980s.

This is really a fantastic fragment of a faience Isis, sitting on a lion throne, nursing her son Horus.
The whole throne, supported by two stringing lions, is well preserved. The lions are extremely fine
and you can see every detail. Dating is between Third Intermediate Period to Late Period.
I think it looks a little bit Nubian, than it is 25th Dynasty. I can not find any parallel of a
comparable faience throne, so it has to be extremely rare.
