Archaic satyr with protruding almond-shaped eyes, enormous snub nose, and full lips with slight archaic smile.
The prominent forehead with a receding hairline and animal ears. The smooth beard with a tiny mustache.

Attic red-figure askos decorated with a wild goat and a lion on the domed top.
The goat springs to right and is seen with one foreleg raised. On the facing side the body of a lion, in a crouched, ready to jump position. The combination of wild goat and lion is rare.

Terracotta head of one of the Dioscuri wearing a pointed cap with bulged rim. Strands of wavy hair frame the face.
The head is almost entirely covered with a white slip. The details of the face such as eyes and mouth were rendered with additional colors.

This is a socketed iron spear from the ancient middle east. This was part of a lot including Bactrian and Luristan artifacts. I do not have an exact cultural attribution for this piece but it is similar to pieces from northern iran in the early part of the first millenium BC. It is 39 cm long and weighs 316 grams. It is intact with no evidence of repair.
