This offering is a pair of bronze daggers from the ancient Ba culture. They date to the Warring States period (475-221 BC). The Ba people are thought to have inhabited the vast area which today encompasses southern Shaanxi, Hubei and eastern Sichuan provinces and Chongqing Municipality. Depending on sources, the Ba are thought to have existed as a unique culture from as early as the Spring and Autumn period (770 BC) to the end of the Warring States period (221 BC)...

This is an absolutely amazing bronze sword from the Dong Son culture in ancient Southeast Asia. Pieces of this type are rarely discovered intact. It is very long (81.5 cm) and though it is thin and fragile it appears to be intact with no obvious signs of repair. It dates to roughly 300 BC. This is a marvelous opportunity to own a truly stunning antiquity.

This is a decorated bronze axle hub pin from the Warring States period in ancient China (circa 475 BC). This pin weighs 80 grams and measures just over 8 cm in length. It was recovered from the same site as the decorated axle hub that I have listed (item # 732555) Since it does not quite fit that axle hub, I am selling the two pieces separately. This fantastic ancient weapon is a bronze dagger or spear from Luristan - ancient Northern Iran circa 1200 BC. This piece is heavy and stable. It has a leaf shaped blade with a strong midrib. The tang tapers to a small 90 degree bend.It has a wonderful patina including malachite and azurite encrustations. This would be a marvelous addition to any collection.It measures just over 26 cm in length and weighs208 grams.

This is a very nice bronze dagger or spear blade from the ancient near East - probably from Northern Iran circa 1200 BC or earlier. It has a thin, flat blade with a reinforced midrib. It has a perforation in the tang which is covered by the patina. It also has some slight bending in the blade which is why I have listed it for such a low price. It does not appear to be damaged or repaired in any other way. It measures roughly 23 cm in length and weighs 84 grams.
