A fine Roman blown glass bottle in a deep amethyst color. Most likely a medicinal flask or unguent vial. It is evenly translucent with very little earthen deposits and encrustation. Quite rare and beautifully well preserved, it dates circa 1st-3rd century A.D. Measurements 4.75" x 3".

Black-glazed bowl with shallow floor decorated with concentric grooves. The small vertical rim slightly incurved. Standing on a raised ring base.
Fingermarks around the foot indicate that the dish was dipped into the glaze.
Covered with a bronish black glaze of metallic lustre.

Carved in a fine glossy green stone, rectangular shape and with a low pierced handle on the back. The seal carved with an elephant in a nice early Roman style of the 1st. century BC.
The style of the Elephant is clearly in family with denarii issued from military mints at the time of Julius Caesar.

Small, plain discus with central filling hole; channel incised with diagonal lines between discus and nozzle, flanked by large volutes. Broad, sloping shoulder decorated with a row of twelve cylindrical shapes decorated at tops with incised lines and impressed circles.

A beautiful pair of Thinbladed Danish Neolithic Axes dating to 3rd mill BC.
The 'thinbladed' types of axes, developed in the later 3rd mill. where the flintsmiths began to make more specialised, smaller tools. Both are unpolished with nice glossy patinas.
One is an adze with a slightly hollow edge - the other axe with calky white patina on one side. Mottled beige and white on the other side.
