A small Chinese brass handwarmer with pierced lid and carrying handle. The lid has many vent holes, some of which are shaped like stars. and these organize the round holes into what looks like many plum blossoms. The warmer measures 3 1/4' high (5 1/2" high with handle up) x 5" in diameter, and dates to the late 19th Century.
