A beautiful Chinese silk rug (6' x 9'); the yellow field bearing a central medallion of a front-facing dragon with four side-facing dragons in each corner, all on a stylized linked flower head ground, the border with stylized lotus, peony and other flowers of good fortune.

This is an old hand woven carpet in great quality. The whitish areas shown in some photos are reflections of light on the silk. The five claws dragons are woven on a brown metal background (gilt copper)...

This traditional Chinese woman's headband was made and worn during the Qing Dynasty toward the end of the 19th century. It has an applique embroidered butterfly on each end and a large full kingfisher feathered medallion in the center. The lotus shaped kingfisher is 4 inches x 2 inches. The entire headband in 16 inches in length.

Up for sale is a very large tapestry made out of a Qing dynasty court official's blue dragon robe, 19th century, executed in Chinese forbidden & satin stitch embroidery, 2 front-facing & 4 profile dragons surrounded by colored clouds, bats, and other Buddhist & Taoist auspicious symbols above the sea waves, rocks, and standing water / Lishui. Panel is backed with light blue silk. Measurement : 64" x 53". Very fine embroidery in excellent condition, no wear or tear.

Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty 19th century Han Chinese woman's robe, and embroidered sleeve bands executed in seed stitch; 5 toggle-loop gilt buttons. The robe is in excellent condition, no fray or wear, shoulder lines have no wear or split, Except there is a very tiny hole in the front left. Measurements : Top collar to bottom hem 36", Sleeve to sleeve 65" when fully stretched, sleeve width 20", width between arm pits 25" narrowest, width of hem 36" widest.

This is a traditional Qing Dynasty woman's skirt. Chines skirts during this time period were made in 2 sections which were "buttoned" together with "frogs" The skirt was then wrapped around the hips so that the flat sections were displayed at at the front and back....the pleated sections were at draped the sides... It is 69.8 inches (177.5 cm) from sleeve to sleeve, 27.1 inches (69 cm) armpit to armpit, and 53.7 inches (136 cm) collar to hem. It is 2.2 lb.
