Made in the very late 1940s or in the opening years of the 1950s at the latest, this Marcel Boucher sterling silver necklace is a Mexican piece from the renowned designer’s “Parisina” line. Parisina pieces are not easy to find - Boucher had them made in Mexico for a few years around WWII because the war effort had put restrictions in the availability and use of silver. Yet this specific design, I have never encountered before ...

This Matl is halmarked for when Matilde Poulat was designing in her shop. The drop is 3.25 in. tall and 3 1/8th inches across. The chickies have rounded puffy bellies and are nicely carved. There is no damage to silver or stones. I categorize the size of this well done Matl as a medium size. There are 2 larger lead off links that are identical as the rest of the chain. The clasp is also jeweled ending the design with a well balanced appearance. The weight is 72 grams...

Gorgeous Ella Cone sterling silver and lapis lazuli necklace, this is a piece that retains American Arts and Crafts influences and has the quality and design originality that characterize Cone's best pieces. I love the richness of the dark blue in the stones in juxtaposition to the warm glow of well-aged, well-loved silver. The necklace has a wearable length of 14 5/8" (actual length - always measuring the shortest strand - is 15 1/4" but I am leaving some allowance so you can clasp it)...

This is a super rare pair of Margot de Taxco earrings numbered design 5104. The shell motif has rings that move freely and are pierced through the open backed thick repousse. This is Margot's 4th design after opening her own Taller. The open back repousse was a technique that was used mostly in the earliest time frame of the Spratling Era and I would place these very close to 1950. These jewels weigh 20 grams and are quite large with a stunning presence at 1.5 inches tall/long and 1in...
