A very rare Czech art pottery wall plaque designed by Karl Grossl in 1934 and stamped on the reverse FBS within a circle, Made In Czechoslovakia, and numbered 157-10P. Probably by the Keramia Company. Featured in Wondermasken book. The plaque is fashioned of terracotta and covered in a turquoise glaze. The relief female mask is in black with a colored rose. Like an aged boxer, the squat muscular crab takes a stance of readiness, one claw up prepared to defend against a coming attacker. This little fellow is unusual in that it is made of thick bronze, with each joint pinned in a way that allows for some mobility. Legs splayed the creature is 9 inches (23 cm) wide, standing it is 3-1/2 inches 89 cm) tall. There is a repair to the first joint of the 2nd left leg. It dates from the first part of the 20th century.
Wonderful champagne ice bucket, or "seau" circa 1950's/60's, from France. To advertise their product, champagne houses would give these buckets to restaurants as a point of sale item, they were not sold. This bucket was never circulated - it is NOS (new old stock). Marked "Montebello" in enamel, "Champange" & "Chateau de Mareuil s/Ay." Nice rolled handles. Chrome over brass; measures 8" tall 7-3/4" across.

A lacquered wooden box decorated in built up Takamaki-e with Tsuba and Kozuka by Heian Zohiko dating from the first half of the 20th century. Inside is fine even nashiji. A decent brush pot was carved from one block of box wood.
By natural root wood form, the wood box was stylized and beautiful when nice and warm patina was obtained on the surface.
It was in good size and was preserved perfectly.
Some protection layers had been done to the bottom by ex-collecter.
It was quite hefty in weight.

Large vintage Louis Vuitton train case. Measures 16 inches by 9 inches and is 8 1/4 inches deep (41 cm by 23 cm by 21 cm). The case has a large mirror in the lid, two leather bottle straps, one on each of the long sides, which are adjustable to accommodate just about any diameter bottle and hold them firmly in place. There is also an upper tray to handily hold those small items. Condition of the case is excellent, with some minor wear. Some staining to lining which is visible in the photographs....
Over the top long sterling hoop earrings with a stylized squash blossom by award winning contemporary Navajo silversmith Edison Cummings. These are posts for pierced ears and measure 4" long. The squash blossoms are suspended from the hoops and move freely. These are not signed but were purchased by the original owner at Garlands in Sedona, Arizona where they were acquired directly from the artist. They weigh 17 grams total. These are incredibly BOLD and elegant at the same time.

Sanborns crafted this open backed repousse cuff with a floral motif. This type of work is an early method with this one being of exceptional weight of 71 grams and a height of 2in. Sometimes these cuffs have holes where light comes thru and or have a lighter weight of silver. This has none of those issues of damage, repairs or faults of any kind.
