A Northern Plains native American pipe with a carved Catlinite bowl and original twisted reed stem. Circa 1870-80. Overall length: 30". The face has a mysterious mixture of sadness and evil not duplicated in any other culture, a truly pitiable character. Most amazing ever Italian 800 silver charm bracelet in the style of Peruzzi with huge Etruscan fob charms. I could never exaggerate the “wow” factor that this piece possesses. Bezel set chrysoprase, coral, sodalite and what I believe to be carnelian adorn the charms while the links of the chain have small coral cabochons as well. Offered for sale is a wonderful 19th century brass and wood English Apothecary Balance Scale. This lovely balance retains its original patina on both the wooden base and brass scales.

The arm is marked "T.O.Co. J. HALL & SON-Makers-Birmingham" and "Class 1 - To Weigh 1 lb."

The scale measures 16"L x 8"W at the wood base and 16 inches high. The condition appears original with only minor distortion to the wood base.
