Vintage French Club Chair - Arts & Crafts Orphan
A first for us, this Arts & Crafts style club chair has its original leather with no tears, but some wear on the top. Narrow, but deep seat, this unique orphan is very comfortable. Circa 1920’s.

Nice early cotton costume comprises long jacket with fitted bodice and has pretty hand embroidery trim with rick-rack ending in blue. Has small set-in long sleeves with matching trim at wrists and matching full skirt . Complete hand sew and embroidery made around 1860 in France. Generally excellent condition , note missing hooks .

A Northern Plains native American pipe with a carved Catlinite bowl and original twisted reed stem. Circa 1870-80. Overall length: 30". The twisted stem has brass tack decoration at the bowl end and attaches to an elbow shaped red Catlinite pipe bowl. Excellent condition, except for a hole in the twisted reed stem.
Chicken Water Dropper, with everted liprim, decorated outside with chrysantemum scroll, flower on the shoulder and a band of small circles around the foot. Unglazed base. This is similar with the item on the Chinese Blue and White Ceramics by ST Yeo & Jean Martin, Southeast Asian Ceramic Society, 1978, page 134 plate 35. A giant mingei carved mask of an oni (demon) embodying the indefinable sense of madness particular to Japanese Demon images. The face has a mysterious mixture of sadness and evil not duplicated in any other culture, a truly pitiable character. The mask, carved from a single block of wood, is just over 2 feet (66 cm) tall and in fine condition.

Most amazing ever Italian 800 silver charm bracelet in the style of Peruzzi with huge Etruscan fob charms. I could never exaggerate the “wow” factor that this piece possesses. Bezel set chrysoprase, coral, sodalite and what I believe to be carnelian adorn the charms while the links of the chain have small coral cabochons as well. The bracelet measures 7 1/2″ long (wearable; actual length is approx. 8 1/8″) with its width at the chain being 15/16″...
Offered for sale is a wonderful 19th century brass and wood English Apothecary Balance Scale. This lovely balance retains its original patina on both the wooden base and brass scales.
The arm is marked "T.O.Co. J. HALL & SON-Makers-Birmingham" and "Class 1 - To Weigh 1 lb."
The scale measures 16"L x 8"W at the wood base and 16 inches high. The condition appears original with only minor distortion to the wood base.
