Description: This ancient jade plaque with incursions caused probably by metal chemicals was kept well under earth for almost 3000 years. From the drilling holes on two ends, we can be sure that this plaque was used to be fastened with cloth or with identical jade plaques to form a funeral jade cloths for deceased people.

A perfect example of the Early Edo Tea aesthetic in this Chatsubo dating from the first half of the Edo period, a splash of black over rust with a white glazed waste from the Seto region around modern day Nagoya. Kokeshi, wooden folk toy of NE Japan. Height: 4.25". This is an example of the "Yajiro-kei" tradition of Miyagi Prefecture. The artisan is Niiyama Manabu, who was born on October 13th, 1930 (Showa 5.) It is not dated, but was most likely made within the last 20 years. Made in Mexico by Hector Aguilar and displaying his prominent HA signature as well as the TB conjoined mark also a Hector Aguilar signature. Length is 16.5in. and is tad over one inch tall. The weight is 109 grams heavy. The necklace sports a beautiful patina and the dimpled dots show great depth in their recesses. This design is very rarely seen and is a feather in any collectors hat. Vintage sterling silver and rosewood pate or cheese board and matching knife designed and signed (circa 1950's) by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). The board measures 8" X 6 1/4" X 1/2" high and is banded on all four sides with inset diagonal silver bands. The matching rosewood knife measures 7 1/4" long and is also inset with silver bands. Each piece is hallmarked WS TAXCO MEXICO WILLIAM SPRATLING 925. The knife carries the eagle 30 hallmark as well...
A Chinese blanc de chine barrel shaped jar and cover the flattened circular lid with twin peach finial, the curving sides of the jar decorated with bands of raised dot designs at the rim and base, the sides otherwise decorated with hawthorn blossom sprays and twin lion head bosses.

Mark Cross suitcase in textured black leather with brass hardware. Case measures 19.75 inches (50 cm) Long, 12 inches (30 cm) Tall and 6.25 inches (16 cm) Deep. The case in in overall good condition with no odors or staining to the interior. The interior has 3 elasticized pockets, one with a snap closure. The handle does have a minor surface break but is sturdy and usable. There is also a small quarter inch compression mark in the leather on the top of the case. No keys. Marked with CROSS logo...

Pitcher stands 6 3/4 inches tall, base is 3 1/2 inches square, pitcher measures 5 inches across spout and handle. Two minor imperfections, pinhead rough spot on body and one on handle; too small to photograph but can be felt. Rough pontil. Blenko Gold only produced 1956 through 1958. No chips, cracks or repairs.
