Rare Chinese Northern Wei Dynasty Painted Pottery Winnowing Figure

This very rare pottery figure was made during the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 386 - 534). It is made from a buff-coloured pottery that has been "cold painted" in a creamy-white pigment. The kneeling figure is in the act of winnowing. Note the detail of the figure's face and the way in which the long sleeves from his robe are tied behind his back.

A huge Qing dynasty Guangxu mark and period blue and white bowl, rounded side with deep center decorated with under glaze blue of landscape, mountain, trees, house, and one ship on the lake, there is Chinese inscription "Da Qing Guo Guangxu Jin chen Fujian Dehua Zhao" (Guangxu period made in the year of Jin Chen in Fujian Dehua).
Bowl is in perfect condition, no damage, no crack, no chip, no restoration, slightly warped.

Rounded cube paperweight with sightly irregular surface texture and flat polished top and base, gold foil ball inclusion in center of weight. The ball inclusion visually changes shape dependent upon ones viewing angle. Piece is a cube measuring 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) tall, wide and deep. An early sterling brooch by Mexican silversmith Matilde Poulat who signed her pieces "MATL" beginning in 1934 until her death in 1960. The motifs of this pin- doves and tiny bells- are ones she used often.The doves have coral eyes and the bells have turquoise dangles. This pin measures 2" long and 1 7/8" wide. It is in fine original condition and signed for MATL in two places on the reverse. This is a wonderful and inspired early MATL piece.

Bronze Manjushri Riding Lion, Ming Dynasty 16th Century

The manjushri is 13 inches (33 cm) tall, and 8.5 inches (22 cm) by 3.8 inches (9.5 cm) wide. He weighs 8.13 lb.

He is in good condition with no repairs, or cracks, except a small chip at the tip of a finger, at the tip of his crown, lotus petals, beast's hair, tail, and the edges. There are also manufacture defect of firing holes and casting defects (as seen in the photos)...
