Chinese late Ming dynasty Dehua (blanc de chine) porcelain bombe form censer with flaring rim covered overall with a white glaze of warm pinkish tone with areas of darker pink pooling. The base and bottom of the flat foot are both unglazed. 5 5/8” diameter x 3 7/8” high. 17th century. From a Scottsdale, Arizona collection. The current owners purchased the censer in Oregon in 1978 from the collection of an American missionary to China prior to the Japanese occupation...

Tall Chinese Ming Dynasty Stoneware Roof Tile Figure

This impressive architectural ridge tile figure was made during the latter part of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), most likely in Shanxi province. It depicts an official figure or guardian / deity figure standing on top of swirling clouds. It is coated in thick green, turquoise, black and straw-coloured glazes.

Height 38 cm (15 inches)...

A nice one blue & white jar in globular form, decorated with grapes and tendrils, a character of "Fu" mark to the base. Condition is perfect, unfortunate only with missing lid. Ming dynasty 16th century Jiajing period. Wide: 9cm and High: 7.1cm.

DESCRIPTION: A large polychrome rimmed dish, finely and well balance potted on the quality white glazed i have ever seen, the interior decorated in red, turquoise and black with a marine rose, an Asian merchantman, island, lion foo dog and a whale around the center medallion bordered with Chinese characters, the everted rim vividly painted with houses and mountains scenery. CONDITION: is perfect excepted two glaze hairlines, but it is not cracks...

A fine waterpot moulded in the form of a pair Mandarin Ducks, one resting its head on the neck of the other, covered overall with green and yellow glaze. Late Ming period 16th-17th century. Condition is very good, except one old flake chip below the tail area, visible on enlargement 3, otherwise is excellent. Long: 7 cm and High: 6.5 cm.

A bowl with powder blue glaze to exterior, inside with a single fish in underglaze blue design. Late Ming dynasty 16th-17th century. Condition is perfect, no any chip, no crack and free from any restoration. Diameter: 10cm.

Fine Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Jar

This fine small porcelain jar was made during the Wanli reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty, or possibly a little earlier. It is finely decorated in underglaze blue with a pattern featuring blossoming branches, the pattern having a dark outline.

Chinese Ming Dynasty Celadon Glazed Porcelain "Bullet" Jar

This porcelain jar was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It is very "heavily-potted": jars of this type are known as "bullet" jars due to their shape. They were made at kilns in Guangdong province as well as, possibly, other kiln sites. Many were exported and this type of jar can be found throughout South-east Asia, widely used for containers of salt and other foodstuffs and liquids...

Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Kraak Porcelain Dish (20.5cm / 8")

This highly decorative and attractive "Kraak" porcelain dish was made at the Jingdezhen kilns during the Wanli reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty. The pattern, in underglaze blue of good colour, features in its centre a winged insect amongst various plants and blossoms. Surrounding this are eight roundels containing, alternately, peach blossoms and precious objects...

A blue & white bowl, decorated outside with "Anhua" of flower sprays, inside with Chrysanthemum flower in the centre and diaper pattern around the inner rim. Four Chinese character mark on the base "Yong Pau Chang Chuan". Ming dynasty 16th century. Condition with D shape re-stuck and restored, further in good condition. Diameter: 12 cm and High; 6.2 cm.

A good blue & white dish, the center decorated with a Phoenix among peony and bamboo, found only on this Swatow family, the sides decorated with a fish scale border among six flower heads in Jiajing style. Ming dynasty circa 1560-1590. Very similar piece illustrated by Duncan Macintosh in 'Chinese Blue & White Porcelain' item picture no.77A. A finely potted and vividly painted of late Ming 17th century b/w cup, decorated to exterior with bird, floral spray and grasshopper, a beautifully Jindezhen Mingyao ware with very smoothly glaze surface like official ware products. Condition is perfect excepted very minor age fritting to rim area, no chip and no crack. High: 4,2cm and Diameter: 6.5cm.

Chinese Kangxi Blue & White Porcelain Box - Eight Treasures

This fine quality blue & white porcelain covered box was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. Both cover and box are attractively decorated in underglaze blue. The cover pattern features a spray of chrysanthemum, representing friendship and a life of ease, surrounded by "eight treasures", all representing good fortune...

A beautiful blue & white small bowl, thinly potted and slightly everted lip rim, decorated inside with a white on blue Lotus flower, outside with continuous Chrysanthemum scroll. Six character mark "Da Ming Cheng Hua Nien Zhe" within a double circle on the base, Ming dynasty Jiajing period (1522-1566). Condition with one tiny chip and fritting to rim, no cracks. Diameter: 10.5 cm and High: 5.5 cm.

Chicken Water Dropper, with everted liprim, decorated outside with chrysantemum scroll, flower on the shoulder and a band of small circles around the foot. Unglazed base. This is similar with the item on the Chinese Blue and White Ceramics by ST Yeo & Jean Martin, Southeast Asian Ceramic Society, 1978, page 134 plate 35.
