A beautiful sterling mid-century modern link bracelet by Danish designer Carl Gustav Hansen, the son of Hans Hansen. The clasp is an ingenious screw bolt. The bracelet is very fluid as all of the links move. Elegant and sophisticated, this piece measures 7 3/4" end to end and is 3/8" wide. It weighs 28 grams. Great original condition. Spectacular by any standard!This Weiss collar-necklace with its matching bracelet and earrings is outstanding, as is the quality of its rhinestones. The necklace is 3 1/2" wide with a 13" inside length, approximately. It has a hook and eye type fastening. The bracelet is 7" long and 5/8" wide. Clip earrings are 1" long and 3/8" wide. The bracelet is the marked piece and it is stamped Weiss on the clasp.

Margot Van Voorhies was definitively the finest female designer from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. This repousse clamper is carved exquisitely and undulates with the reverse repousse. The fish is 4 inches tall and has a weight of 115 grams. Turn the fish around and the silver tapers to 1.25in. in the back for comfort. Due to the age of these clampers many suffer from metal fatigue and have lost their "snap". We have given this clamper a new spring so it is ready for another 50 years...

An exquisite, early sterling hand hammered and malachite necklace by Tane. Tane is a silver manufacturing company in Mexico City whose emphasis is on quality. The 26 old-mine diamonds are bead-set in a 14Kt white gold 3 millimeter wide eternity band. The size of the band is 7 ¼ and the approximate total weight of all the diamonds is 0.85Ct.

When it comes to hinged bangle bracelets, I think the Los Ballesteros taller was probably the most creative of the Taxco workshops. Their designs range from the more traditional to the slickest mod and they are usually adorned with spectacular gems or hard stones. The minimalist yet visually substantial example at hand boasts four clear amethysts nested in dramatically raised crown settings. The purple of the gems is reflected in the silver and the mirror effect is quite impressive...

Handmade sterling silver and rosewood bottle opener designed and signed (c.1950) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling(1900-67). Sculptural in design the opener is 5 3/8" Long. Beautiful vintage condition. No chips or cracks to wood. No dents or dings to silver. This is a decorative piece and we suggest not using it to actually open bottles as the high silver content is softer than other metals commonly used in openers. This is my favorite bracelet made by Erika Hult in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. Properly hallmarked as shown and is 6 7/8th inches long. Curves brilliantly around the wrist and has a weight of 100 grams of quality. The design has a big presence with 1.25in. of height. She studied at the Parsons School of Design in Paris as did Hubert Harmon. She signed her work with the name of RIC.

Spratling uses one single rod of thick sterling silver to form this elegant "safety pin". Worked by hand, the detailed swan's head is formed, continuing down to the double looped turn, ending with the sleek, tapered point. Measuring 3 3/4 inches long and 1/2" wide the piece is in beautiful condition. The ingenious design allows for excellent tension in opening and closing the pin point. The thickness of the rod is most suitable for looser weaved fabric...

Rare, hand made and standing 4 3/4" tall this sterling silver and black onyx ostrich sculpture was designed and signed in the early 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. Comprised of an egg shaped body of black onyx with white specks. The bird has applied detailed wings and tail feathers along with an intricately detailed face, head and ostrich neck. The piece stands on two long detailed legs and feet. Head to tail measures 4 3/4"...

Spectacular archer cuff by Antonio Pineda, c.1950. He was inspired by this design and also used it for a belt buckle. This solid bracelet weighs 134 grams, is 2 3/8" wide and 5 1/2" around in the inside with a 1" opening. Fine original condition and hallmarked as shown. It's terrific.
