Large vintage sterling silver belt buckle designed and signed by master artisan Frank Patania Sr.(1900-64). Buckle measure 4"X 2 1/2" and will accommodate a two inch wide strap. Vintage handmade bowl of 700 silver designed (c. 1940's)by Taxco, Mexico artist Hubert Harmon. Measures 11 1/2" across & 2 inches deep. Weighs 1 lb, 3oz. Fluted rim surrounds a repousse sunflower decoration. Marked HUBERT HARMON MADE IN MEXICO 700. Beautiful vintage condition with normal surface wear. No dents, dings or repairs. Well known for his whimsical jewelry in sterling and other metals this bowl is rare as few pieces of Harmon holloware appear on the market.

One of the best repousse figural brooches I have had over the years this is an early, stunning bird studded with blue and greenish blue turquoise cabochons. The repoussage is definitely the work of somebody who mastered the art - bold, deep, with excellent detail that has been accentuated with time by warmly glowing patina. If you have to portray a peacock, it better look like this one here! The brooch measures 4 1/8" tall by 1 7/8" wide (at its widest)...

We are offering design 263 which is one of the early Los Castillo pre-Columbian swirls. The matching cuff shown is also available on my site. The necklace is one of the most magnificent Los Castillo designs and this one is 17.75 in. which makes it fit nicely as most are very short in length.
