Sometimes when hunting for great old Mexican Silver you run into a lesser known artist's treasure like this one I am listing today. The red poured glass bordered with beading is striking. The ball and beads above the red tear drops dress up each station. This has a Spratling feel with the hand carved lines in the chain as well as the tops of each drop. The length is 23.5 inches. Each tear drop dangle is 2 inches long...

VERY RARE Hector Aguilar Aztec Flowers cuff bracelet c. 1940-55 in 940 silver. It is featured on page 29 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Morrill and also on page 104 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. Each panel has a different Aztec flower. A pair of pierced 10k yellow and white gold earrings with genuine light blue topaz gem stones and genuine diamonds circa 1970s. These 1/2" x 3/8" post or stud earrings feature an oval facetted genuine baby blue topaz gem stone flanked with four single point diamonds per earring. They are stamped 10 K on the butterflies and on their backs and weigh 2.2 grams. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A 19th century (early Meiji) period Buddhist image we believe to be a thousand armed version of Yakushi Nyorai accompanied by two sages carved entirely of fragrant sandalwood on a gilded wooden base. The group is in total 15-1/2 inches (39 cm) tall, the image alone 5-1/2 inches (14 cm) tall. Both sages are missing an arm, as well as one lotus blossom rising from the wave patterned base. The holy figure itself also once had a greater number of arms, which have been lost over the last 150 years...

Description: An exquisite conical Yaozhou bowl was molded with beautiful motifs of flowers and tendrils in the cavetto. Preserved in perfect condition, the bowl's foot ring was adhesive with kiln sands. Numerous bubbles were characteristically revealed in the glaze. Some minute burst bubbles were left on the outer mouth rim, Otherwise the over all condition is perfect. Date: Song Dynasty(AD960-1279), Width: 10cm

Vintage 1930-40's hand wrought sterling silver, coral, amethyst and turquoise necklace designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Matilde Poulat. Weight- 94 grams. Necklace has a wearable length of 17 1/2". Pendant measures 4" across & 3 1/2" high. Hallmarked on clasp. Poulat signed her designs Matl which is an Aztec word for water. Beautiful vintage condition & patina. Matl designs are included in the permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at LACMA.

A Nandina (Jap.Nanten) grows up in brilliant red hues over a dark garden stone on thie black panels of this unique painting by Ono Tosaburo. Heavy pigment on paper mounted as a two panel screen with light cloth border and hardwood frame. This was exhibited at the 12th Nitten in 1956, and is visible in the catalog for that year. It is 85 x 74 inches (188 x 216 cm) open...

Description: An adorned wood female lion was carved in Ming dynasty. Stepping on a cup who lies upward, this lion grinned fiercely. She should had been paired with a male lion who stepping on a scroll ball and all were placed before a shrine as guarding beasts. It is an exact example of Ming lion and of an 400 years old wood piece for dating. Material: Camphor Wood.
