A 10k black Alaskan diamond hematite ring circa 1960s. This vintage size 8-1/2 ring measures 11/16" x 1/2" across the facetted marquise gem stone and it weighs 2.8 grams. It is stamped 10K with a circled A maker's mark. Black Alaskan diamond is the commercial name for silver pyrite or hematite. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A rarely encountered occupation era original Japanese shin hanga woodblock print titled "Tanigumi Temple, Mino" by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) dated in the lower left margin Showa 22 (1947). The artist's black ink signature and red seal are at the lower left corner of the image. The 6mm circular seal of the publisher Watanabe (used 1946-1957) is at the lower right corner. Beautiful quality and design in this Ben Amun necklace. Bronze color metal. The amber colored glass cabochons are translucent, the other colors are opaque. The age of this is unknown;it is probably early to mid twentieth century. It is signed Ben Amun in several places. The necklace is 19 1/2" end to end with an additional extension of 2". The pendant is 3 1/2" long, including the drop and it is 2" wide.

A superbly rendered and atmospheric lifetime woodblock print by the famed Japanese artist Kawase Hasui (1883-1957), titled "Ikegami Honmonji Temple" (Honmonji Temple in Snow). First published in 1931, this is an artist's lifetime strike from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. This print is Oban size (14-1/4" x 9-1/2" image size, 19-3/4" x 14-1/4" frame size). It has the 6 mm. red lifetime seal of the publisher Watanabe Shozaburo (seal used from 1946-57)...

I have a weakness for Mexican jewelry that combines silver with copper and brass - I find that the three metals together look fantastic as the warm patina of the copper and brass elements lends its glow to well-aged silver. The "mixed metals" dangle earrings offered here bear the signature of Los Castillo and are an early creation, as indicated by the design number...

This is a superb sterling and Lone Mountain turquoise ring by Santo Domingo Pueblo artist Julian Lovato. He began working in 1938 and was a silversmith for Frank Patania Sr.in the Thunderbird Shop. He has won several awards for his outstanding creations. This ring is a size 13 ,weighs 28 grams and is in fine original condition. The magnificent stone alone measures 7/8" long and 5/8" wide. Signed as shown. This is a museum quality piece.

A pair of Art Deco era 14k drop earrings from the 1920s-30s. These wonderful 1-3/8" x 3/4" earrings are unmarked but have been tested and are guaranteed as gold - they were originally screw-back earrings, but were changed to pierced some years ago. They have (tested) 14k ear wires, and they weigh 2.9 grams. They are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...
