This Male Hindu temple figure comes from one of the Indonesian Islands. He is hand carved from a tree trunk and colorfully painted. At 210 cm he is with inches of being 7 feet tall.

Intricately hand wrought in sterling silver, this vintage 1950's Matl pin measures 3" X 2 1/4". A rare pair of long tailed quetzal birds looking over their shoulder anchor the five articulated components. Beautifully aged turquoise beads enhance the overall design. Hopi Morris Robinson began making jewelry in the 1920's in Arizona and became a master of many techniques. These exquisite silver overlay earrings are a fine example of his talent. And it was fat-glazed.
The glaze was in slightly darken green tint.
Crackles and glaze fret were resulted due to age.
Supported stylized by three evert feet, it was presented as a beautiful item as a true old piece by all the characteristics revealed...

This fine and attractive pottery model of a horse was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is made from a grey pottery that has been "cold painted" in a base coat of creamy-white pigment with details picked out in red pigment. The horse stands upright with its head turned to its right.
