A very unusual Kutani porcelain shallow bowl in the form of bamboo basket form rice scoop, zaru, decorated with a celadon glaze and finely painted in aka-e style with butterflies to the interior of the bowl, and an elaborate iron red brocade ground inset with repeating panels of Chrysanthemums and Suzuki, pampas grass.
The bowl measures 22cm in length and is 18,5cm in width and at its highest point measures 6.5cm. The dish is in very good condition no cracks, chips or restoration...

We are offering yet another Enrique Ledesma obsidian necklace of his iconic design. These stones all glow a beautiful gold sheen when in natural lighting. Ledesma is known for his exceptional skill in working with stone. There is a 16in. wearable length and a weight of 82 grams heavy. I have another listed on my site as well with a smaller link. Elegant and casual this rare three strand sterling silver necklace was designed and signed circa 1940 by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. (1900-67). A small serving bowl of five petal form, rinkagata namasu-zara, with a stencilled pattern of imbricated waves, seigaiha, with cherry blossom, sakura-hana inset with two small reserves containing prunus and bamboo boughs. The reverse decorated with a simplified Lotus scroll and a four character Dai in nensei mark. A dark brown fuchibeni “lip rouge” glaze to the rim. It measures 14.2cm in diameter and stands 4.2cm high to the rim.
