A very rare crystal tiger from Burma/Thailand. Crystal was thought to have magical powers and the tiger represents strength. It is unknown how they drilled the holes to make it wearable.As you can see they were drilled at both ends, probably before the crystal was carved. Age: over two thousand years old. Size: L. 3cm. This ancient conch shell bead from the Pyu period and dates back to around the first century. It represents the emblem of the voice of Buddha preaching the laws of his doctrine, and occurs as one of the auspicious signs on the "Footprint of Buddha". Size: L. 2.2cm. Condition: No repairs. In the enlarged photos you will see the natural faults of the stone but is not very noticeable with the naked eye.

Korean Silla Kingdom (circa 6th century) unglazed reddish-gray stoneware funerary food vessel with domed cover on a high stem foot broadly flaring at the base and decorated with rectangular perforations. The lid is covered with incised designs and has a central finial. There are no cracks, chips, or repairs. The piece is in very good overall condition with minor imperfections consistent with its age. I cannot be certain if the lid was originally made for this specific bowl...

A garment-hook or belt-fitting in the shape of a horse, made of bronze with green patination. According to the Brooklyn Museum, these belt hooks in the form of a horse come from Lelang, one of three commandaries, or colonies, that the Chinese established in northwest Korea during the Han dynasty and that lasted more than four hundred years (108 B.C.E.–313 C.E.). The horse’s shape is reminiscent of depictions in the nomadic Scytho-Siberian culture of Central Asia...

It is solid (as opposed to being hollow as are most ancient Chinese pottery figures) and made from a dense pottery that has been painted in red, pink, black and white pigments, very good traces of which still remain. Fine Large Chinese Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Hu Jar & Cover

This pottery jar with cover was made during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8). It is made from a fairly high-fired fine-grained grey pottery that has been elaborately "cold painted" in various coloured pigments, including blue, a colour rarely seen on Han pottery. The pattern comprises a geometric design around the neck and a swirling cloud pattern around the waist, between wide bands.
