By the renowned Mexican silversmith Salvador Teran, this pair of earrings are the epitome of the excellent mid-century designs which were produced in Mexico by the famous metalsmiths of Taxco and Mexico City. They are stamped on the back "Sterling Mexico Salvador 164". They measure 1 1/4" x 1" and are in excellent condition, with functioning screw back fasteners.

Pair English George III knife boxes in Hepplewhite style. Circa 1800. Each box veneered in figured mahogany with boxwood stringing and serpentine shaped fronts. The sloping hinged lids are adorned with marquetry ovals depicting a dove on an olive branch on a hardwood ground.
