I love Antonio crosses - most of the times, they look more like a work of abstract art than a symbol of one's spirituality. And the silver, pearl and (I believe) zoisite or chrysoprase pendant here is definitely a good example of that. Simply gorgeous, with fantastic patina and the most adorable pearls, it catches the eye with its sense of motion and the green gem at its center...

A fantastic alternative to the very hard to find Salvador Teran original, this set of earrings bears the signature of Taller Taxco. A very intriguing workshop, Taller Taxco's jewelry are all emulations of Teran's designs - and of very high quality at that. Though there is suspicion of a relationship between the two, nothing has been proven until today yet it's indisputable that the pair at hand comes very close to Teran's work...

In the 1940s, the Los Ballesteros taller made several variations of "dimpled dot" bracelets, most of them hinged, and adorned with impressive gems held in raised crown settings. The piece here is possibly the most massive, absolutely breath-taking of the series. I could not exaggerate the powerful presence, the warm patina and the gorgeous, big simulated alexandrite stone that centers it. Definitely a statement bracelet for a lady that does not hide away in the shadows. With an inner circumferen...
