These beads are 6mm in diameter and they are absolutely gorgeous. They are heavy weighing 151 grams. The strands are approximately 18, 19 and 20 inches long. These handmade lacy drop earrings are composed of sterling silver wires shaped into rosettes, with bead centers. The earrings test strongly for sterling, and have been converted from screw backs to posts. They have at the same time a delicate design and a strong presence. William Spratling first phase hallmarks as shown are on these magnificent tulip earrings. They are substantial in size at 1.5in. long and .75in. wide at widest point. The weight is 21 grams. They drop beautifully and the screw backs hits in the center of the tulip making it well balanced for a great fit. The swirl curves with the ear for a fabulous presence. No dents or chips. Only striations inside the stones as one would expect to see. Collector quality.

A mother-of-pearl and bone inlaid wood crucifix, fixed on a pyramidal base and with affixed cylinders. Decorated with symbols of the Franciscan order, geometric and floral patterns. Fabulous pair of mod, space-age Mexican silver dangle earrings with azur-malachite inlay in the style of the Los Castillo "Mosaico Azteca" line. Just note the Saturn-like spheres at the end of the slick, long stems and the dimension that the inlaid band around them adds to the design. Spectacular and so unique! A large Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) cold-painted pot from an old Japanese scholar collection enclosed in an ancient kiri-wood storage box bearing a great many stamps inside the lid. The fine clay is covered in elaborate designs in red, white brown and orange pigment. The piece is 11 inches (28 cm) tall. There is minor damage to the rim but no repair or restoration; a fine example of Han Dynasty painted pottery in fine condition.

Beautiful Matl hand-mirror with ornate scroll work around the oval "looking glass" and bezel set turquoise cabs. The teardrop repousse handle has exquisite patina as does the whole piece. A veritable Matilde treasure and an example of her work I have never had before. The mirror measures 4 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" wide (at its widest). This Fred Davis design is hallmarked with the Davis eagle 22 which was assigned only to him. It is lacking the FD signature. The piece is very well executed weighing 71 grams heavy and being 16.5in. long and just shy of 1 inch wide. It has a sophisticated presence with no dents or chips to the amethyst cabachons. A kyusu teapot with attrative, unctuous rust-orange highlighted opaque off-white Shino glaze. Two character artist's signature incised to the pottery body within a reserve in the glaze. Good condition save a miniscule flea bite to the flaze on the tip of the spout. Pot diameter about 5 1/4 inches. Cover diameter about 3 1/2 inches. Length including handle about 7 3/4 inches.
