This delicate deco-inspired engagement ring begins with a beautifully designed platinum setting studded with ten single-cut diamonds. A .45 carat old mine center stone completes the picture and brings the total carat weight to .55. The H color VS2 clarity diamond is round, but the setting gives it a square look, lending the piece that characteristic deco edge.

This is a pre 1948 Old Mexico City folk style by CEL. Nicely rendered and cast, with good detail in face and mane, this Roman bronze applique or roundel dates to the 1st to 3rd centuries AD, and measures 2 3/4" (vertical) x 2 7/8" (horizontal). It has two holes at the side for attachment, and also has holes where a loop was once attached at the mouth. The Jacopo brothers had a silver house in Mexico City named Art en Plata in which they carried artisans from Taxco as well as their own designs. Correctly hallmarked with a Taxco artist AJ and a design number 49. This necklace is extremely well crafted with a weight of 169 grams. The repousse bars are 1 1/8th tall and show a 6mm depth.
