A rare Staffordshire "Prattware" tea caddy, unusually with original cover. On each side are moulded caricatures of Georgian "society" figures with their servants/attendants. This item was made during the last quarter of the 18th Century, circa 1780-1790. Condition - there are chips to the under side of the cover and the finial has been re-glued.
