Scarce Irish silver bowl by silversmith Matthew West, Dublin, c.1780, sterling silver. A small bowl adorned with swirling bands of punch work decoration and supported on three hoof feet. Excellent antique condition. Hallmarked on the underside with the Irish harp, figure of Hibernia and maker's initials MW for Matthew West. Also engraved with the original owner's initials BR in block letters. Size: 5 inches in diameter x 2.5 inches high. Weight: 4.6 troy ounces.

English George III period sterling silver oval tea caddy, London, 1796, by John Crouch I and Thomas Hannam. Size: 4 inches high x 4 inches long x 2 1/2 inches deep. Excellent condition with no repairs or damage. Engraved on the front with a family crest. Fully hallmarked on the side and also on the lid with lion passant and maker's stamp. The wooden finial is carved and is secured to the cover with a sterling nut.

From the workshop of George Roth of Hanau Germany, ca 1895, this silver casket is beautifully crafted in the French rococo style. It measures 4 1/2" x 4 5/8" x 3", and is good heavy weight, 12 troy ounces. The interior has some remnants of gilding remaining, and the locking mechanism is visible (no key). It is stamped on the bottom with the marks of George Roth, with crowns over an A, a P, and a Fleur de lis. George Roth was a silversmith in Hanau, working between 1891 and 1908, and like man...

Hanging censer, measuring 15 1/2" from top loop to bottom of censer, 5 1/2" wide, the censer body 8" high. Unmarked, tests silver, 800 or above. Early pieces were rarely marked. The censer body hangs by silver chains, attached to figural subjects, and is decorated heavily with bands of foliate designs and roroco repossee motifs. This is a rare pair of sterling silver candlesticks made by the esteemed Mauser silver manufacturing company of New York, New York between 1887 and 1903. The candlesticks are 8" tall and the base measures 4 1/2" in diameter. The stem is weighted, and the bottom is fully hallmarked. One of the candlesticks was expertly repaired at the bottom of the stem just above the base. There is an Old English letter engraved on top of the base, your guess is as good as mine as to what letter it could be...
