A very rare handmade sterling and center bezel set oval malachite bracelet by the American Arts & Crafts workshop Chicago Art Silver Shop. In 1912, after moving from their native Hungary, Edmund Boker and Ernest Gould formed the Chicago Art Silver Shop. Both had worked as silversmiths in a Budapest factory making objects for European royal families. A 1920-s platinum and diamond engagement ring, centered by a 1.00Ct old-miner diamond that has G color and SI2 clarity. The open scroll design is further decorated by fourteen single-cut diamonds, which brings the approximate total diamond weight to 1.25Ct. The center diamond is not certified, but was graded by our in-house gemologist.

A spectacular sterling and multi color enamel bracelet by the Norwegian company Balle. This is a heavy hinged cuff with a pin closure and safety chain. Signed in 3 places with early marks is this rare Matilde Poulat necklace. The Matl's center is a tulip with turquoise and coral stones. The bird of choice is the turkey which I believe is the best I have seen turkeys displayed by Matl. The flow into the tulip is majestic. Finger coral adorns the birds along with the tiniest turquoise beads. The length is 18 inches and the drop measures 5.5in. across. It is hard to measure the height of the drop to be exact but I see it closest to 2.75in...

A wonderful sterling and turquoise necklace and matching bracelet by Taxco silversmith Fred Davis. His pieces are scarce in general and a matching necklace and bracelet are very rare to find. The design is charming and the stones are all intact. It is in beautiful original condition. The necklace measures 17" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 125 grams. In the early 1940's Spratling designed this sterling silver and enamel pin to raise money for the Mexican Red Cross. It measures 1" across. Guest curator Penny Morrill included this design in the museum exhibit WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE. It's pictured on p. 36 of her book that accompanied the exhibition. The pin is also pictured on Phyllis Goddard's spratlingsilver.com where she explains that this is the only known example of Spratling enameling...

A pair of 14k yellow gold opal wirework dangle earrings from the 1960s-70s. Slick, less-is-more design and a beautifully carved amethyst "mask" make this vintage 1950s Mexican sterling silver ring easy to wear and a real treat for the eye! There is something masculine about the simplicity of the ring itself that is, however, tempered by the delicately soft, slender features of the stone "face". The Matl Taller signed properly Turkeys is one of those outstanding designs by Matilde Poulat. A tulip in it's center is truly gorgeous. There is approximately 19 in. of wearable length that lays perfectly all the way around the neck. The center is 2 1/8th inches tall. I would classify the size as being a firm mid size necklace with an impressive presence. The weight is 82 grams of quality workmanship. No damage or welds, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!
