Stunning Matl-Salas sterling silver Palomas combination pin/pendant with meticulously worked repoussage and coral, amethyst and turquoise jewels. One of the most impressive pieces I have seen, its quality makes me think that it's an early 1980s example and its size just has me dazzled. I have paired it with an earlier, handwrought Mexican chain with elaborate links and appropriate length for such a stupendous pendant - the result is, to my eyes at least - beyond words.....

This sterling silver and enamel bangle bracelet has a bold Nordic design that enhances its narrow, delicate shape. It bears the mark of Aksel Holmsen, an N in a square, which stands for the workshop’s ‘Norse’ line. This intriguing brooch is probably European. It is composed of 14kt gold leaves and stems, the stems supporting gray pearls that are suspended like lilies-of-the-valley. The leaves are incised to depict veins, with scored edges. The surface of the pearls exhibits some roughness; also, the clasp and pin stem look to have been replaced, probably around 1920 or so, and neither tests as gold. Here is a cleverly designed and expertly worked pair of sterling silver earrings of abstract form, made by studio jeweler Patricia Daunis of Maine. Each earring is composed of a single piece of silver, cut into ribbons and twisted. Over the top extraordinary, large, long sterling and enamel screwback earrings by Margot De Taxco. Vibrant yellow and black enamel with center dots in green, red and pale purple that look like jewels. These measure 2 1/8" long and are 1" at the widest part. They are in fine original condition. There are no chips, cracks or flaws to the enamel and they have not been repaired. They are completely, simply spectacular.

A platinum and diamond size 7 1/2 eternity band from the 1920’s is channel set with 33 (French cut) square cut diamonds. The setting is beautifully engraved on both sides with a garland like pattern, but on one side the makers left three areas blank for engraving. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 1.30 Ct.

This ring is for the person who loves and appreciates the filigree style of the 1920’s. The original period piece is made of platinum and set with a 4.5mm X 3.5mm faceted natural sapphire in the center, and the center stone is flanked on either side by an approximately 0.20Ct good quality old-mine diamond, which makes the total diamond weight to be approximately 0.40Ct. The design of the ring is outstanding, and it is in great condition.
