This magnificent necklace was created for the House of DeLillo by Robert Clark in the early 1970s. Clark, former chief designer for Miriam Haskell, left to form a partnership with DeLillo in the late 1960's. Fantasy Jewels purchased this most unusual necklace from DeLillo/Clark personal collection. The necklace is heavily gold plated and all the hundreds of tiny rhinestones are hand set. Wonderful Dorothy Bauer brooch! This little turtle has personality!. Beautiful prong set blue and green rhinestones making a charming design on the turtle's back. The brooch is very three dimenional being 1 1/8" thick from top of shell down. He is 2 3/4" nose to tail and 1 1/2" flipper to flipper.

This gorgeous DeLillo set was designed by DeLillo's partner, Robert Clark, head designer for Miriam Haskell until the late 1960's when he joined DeLillo in creating some of the most exclusive and elegant costume jewelry of that time. What a fun pin! Dorothy Bauer has a great sense of humor which is expressed in many of her charming creations. This brooch is very three dimensional. The ball of rhinestone "ice cream" is 3/4" from front to back and forms one half of a sphere. The brooch is 3" long and 1 1/2" wide. Great piece for the summer season!

Outrageous! To start with this Bauer bird is 6" long, has "tail feathers" dangling freely to pick up any movement, and is very three dimensional. The Austrian crystal stones are all prong set and range from irridescent green, to white, pink and gold. This parrot does everything but talk! The oval Bauer cartouche is on the back. He comes with a collectors' record and description.

Glass cabochons in simulated ruby, onyx and lapis. Links are strung on metal chain. Very smart when worn. The roundedness of the collar makes dark edges in this picture that do not exist on the collar. 14" inside circumference, 1 1/2" at its widest.
